Episode Transcript
[00:00:00] Speaker A: Welcome back to Go Bag. We've got a very special actual play session for you in this episode. Usually Harrigan and I are the ones calling the shots or causing the chaos, but in this episode we've brought in an outside consultant to handle the logistics. Joining us from Nerds RPG Variety cast, we have Jason Connerly behind the screen. He'll be taking on the role of the administrator, which means we're going to be playing TSR's Top Secret.
We're going to have a link to Jason's show in the show notes. Be sure you go and check it out. Harrigan and I also want to thank Jason for stepping in and running this for us. We really appreciate it. Thanks, Jason. Now we'll turn it over to him and we hope that you enjoy this actual play.
[00:00:40] Speaker B: Vignette started here. And then we'll. We'll back up. We'll take a. We're going to. We'll pause the game for a second to add a couple of the values once you equip up.
[00:00:51] Speaker C: Okay.
[00:00:52] Speaker B: Yeah. Once you have your equipment, it would help to have like your, your PWV written down and, and had that already written if you combat.
But okay, so. Oh, wait, let me see here. Okay, so we got Duke and we got.
[00:01:11] Speaker C: He means something to the effect of this because all of this is one weapons combat values.
[00:01:18] Speaker B: Yeah, it all adds together.
Basically you're gonna have.
What does Thomas go by? Let's go by Tom. Does it go by Thomas?
[00:01:26] Speaker C: No, it's Thomas, my friend.
Are we gonna formally introduce the characters and all that nonsense or are we gonna just dive in?
[00:01:37] Speaker B: That is up to you guys. I was thinking we're gonna mostly dive in just because of.
[00:01:41] Speaker C: Okay, so then. So Sean knows.
[00:01:44] Speaker B: Sean.
[00:01:44] Speaker C: So, you know, while he's doing some adjustments here, Thomas is like. Worked for. His father owns a worldwide construction company. So he traveled the world doing construction projects, joined the army. And in the army they recognize that the boys well suited for Secret Service kind of thing. So it's that simple. From New York City, but does not have like a Bronx accent. He's a well educated kid. 25 years old, maybe 26. 26 years old.
[00:02:07] Speaker B: Okay.
[00:02:08] Speaker A: Duke Cannon.
Named after some. You know, I. His father thought he would be much more macho as a. As a grown adult. I guess if he chose Duke Cannon was like a TV show, kind of.
[00:02:23] Speaker C: Western maybe named after the Duke, right?
[00:02:26] Speaker A: Partially. Right. There's a count. There's. His dad's got a couple versions of why his name Duke Cannon.
He's originally from the Midwest, but made his way out to Maryland, got in, recruited into the. To the Agency.
And as an operative, he.
He is strangely, like, maybe kind of rare books.
Rare book trade.
Because he's pretty well read as far as what his knowledge is. And, um.
Well, his knowledge isn't that great, but he just. He's a bookworm. Kind of a nerdy guy, frumpy in appearance.
His. His physical attributions as far as, like, his face when I was making him up was like Paul Williams, except I didn't want him to be like 4ft tall.
[00:03:22] Speaker C: I thought you were going to make the heavy.
[00:03:23] Speaker B: I thought you were going to make the combat guy.
[00:03:25] Speaker A: I. I roll. I rolled up my guy. This is how it turned out.
So I couldn't.
I mean, his physical strength. 78.
[00:03:36] Speaker C: Yeah. Okay, good. You're all good.
[00:03:38] Speaker A: His charm's like 29.
[00:03:41] Speaker C: Oh, well, I got like in the 90s for charm.
[00:03:43] Speaker A: 98.
[00:03:44] Speaker B: Yeah, you guys balance each other out a little bit.
[00:03:47] Speaker C: So we're fine.
[00:03:48] Speaker B: Yeah, you'll be fine.
Real quickly, are we okay doing notes in the chat here in Zoom, or do you want to keep using Discord for notes?
Like if I'm going to post a picture or an image or if we're going to. Because, like, if we get into hand to hand, what we're going to do is because you're supposed to reveal simultaneously. So what we'll do is we'll each type out what we picked and then we'll just hit enter at the same. Roughly the same time. Like, are you ready? I'm ready. We'll both hit enter. You know what I mean? That's the easiest way I can think to do it.
[00:04:21] Speaker A: Whatever is easiest for you, Jason. If it's scored or zoom. I don't.
[00:04:25] Speaker C: I would. I would agree. Sean, you are recording this as a matter with regards to that. If people want to see the.
[00:04:31] Speaker A: No, I don't know if it captures.
[00:04:33] Speaker B: It in Zoom, you get a chat.
Yeah, you get a chat thing when you download the video, when you download your files.
[00:04:40] Speaker A: Okay. So I could go either way.
[00:04:43] Speaker C: Zoom's fine. It's right on the right hand side of the right. At least for my setup.
[00:04:48] Speaker B: I'm. Okay. I'm logged at Discord. Then I. The reason. The other reason I ask is because I've got like a 13 inch monitor.
[00:04:55] Speaker A: Well, right.
[00:04:55] Speaker B: That's why I figured, let's use zoom.
[00:05:00] Speaker A: Why does it have to be Discord or Zoom? Can't we use something else?
Jason's.
[00:05:06] Speaker B: You know, we use trello. Yeah, let's fire up a VTT man.
[00:05:10] Speaker C: Come on, let's go.
[00:05:11] Speaker B: Yeah. Okay, so we are ready.
Okay. Any other questions before we get started?
[00:05:20] Speaker C: Do we need the rules up and does it matter that we have two different versions?
[00:05:24] Speaker B: No, not really.
I actually I was telling Sean I couldn't find.
We've been moving stuff around. You know, we built an in law suite, move my mom in and doing stuff and I don't know where my first edition is, so. Actually what I found was my second edition copy.
[00:05:38] Speaker C: Oh, okay.
[00:05:39] Speaker B: So all good? Yeah. I mean if you have the rules upgrade and you can follow along. Actually, you'll need your rules.
If you get into hand to hand, you're gonna need your rules. If you don't get hand to hand, you won't. But you will need the charts because you'll have to pick defenses and tax.
[00:05:56] Speaker C: I'm gonna bring it up then.
[00:05:58] Speaker B: Yeah. So I would recommend having the rule book open or available just for that.
[00:06:03] Speaker C: Got it.
[00:06:03] Speaker B: I mean if you don't get a hand in hand, it won't matter. But that's the only thing you'll have to reference really other than that I can look up for you and tell you what to roll and what. What your result is.
Okay, so if. If we're ready, we'll go ahead and get started.
Okay.
Hey, Duke and Thomas. You were just finishing up your training. You've been at survival training with Colonel Rhombus in the Maine woods.
And he pulls you off the obstacle course and briefs you that at 9:45am today zero at 0945 for you, Thomas. The President of the United States of America was kidnapped. He was speaking at outdoor meeting at the annual Maple Sugar festival in Pineton, Maine, a small town near the Canadian border. A small low flying aircraft sprayed the entire town meeting with highly concentrated sleeping gas. During the approximately 10 minutes of unconsciousness, the President was taken off the platform and removed to an unknown location. Most intelligence sources believe that the President will be held until nightfall and then moved across the border. All major minor roads to Canada have been closed.
You're the only members of our agency in the area. So you're now released from training.
You're a full fledged GLG 20s and you're going to be sent to assist the other agencies in the search.
You're going to be working with the Secret Service and.
And then he points to a helicopter and you're off.
So what we're gonna do. So. So anything when you get on the ground or anything you want to try to. You can try to ask him if you want, but he's.
[00:08:11] Speaker C: Well, you mentioned, you mentioned we're on a training. A training exercise, right? Yeah. So basically we're in training fatigues or gear or whatever and we're basically running for the helicopter, I think.
[00:08:21] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:08:21] Speaker C: Like. Yes, sir.
[00:08:23] Speaker B: Yep. Yep, that's. That's basically it. Yeah.
[00:08:25] Speaker C: I will say as an aside, the scene in Goldfinger when the. When pussy's plane flies over and knocks out all the marching troops with the sleep gas and they all fall at exactly the same moment. I have always loved that scene. Like every soldier falls asleep instantly.
[00:08:41] Speaker B: Right?
[00:08:42] Speaker C: Always loved it. All right, so. So presumably like the president's attaches and secret Service, they all got slept. Sleep gassed.
So maybe when we're running. Maybe when we're running to the. I mean, you know what? I have a different question. Let me ask this. 9:45am 0900945. That happened. What time is it now?
[00:09:02] Speaker B: Well, so it. So actually now it is. So we're gonna. We're effectively gonna do a flashback because right now it's 14:30. That's 2:30 for you, Duke.
[00:09:14] Speaker C: Okay.
[00:09:14] Speaker B: And 2:30pm and you are at the base of a driveway in front of the Worthington Mansion at the Worthington Estate. But we're going to back up before you get there.
[00:09:30] Speaker C: Okay?
Got it.
My only questions would be, we can skip over them. We'd be like, you know, when did this happen? And you know, who, who else? You know, are they. Is anybody awake yet? Are they? Okay, no, you know, etc. Etc. Right.
[00:09:45] Speaker B: So he. So he's briefing you at 10:30, effectively.
[00:09:52] Speaker C: Got it.
[00:09:53] Speaker B: And that's what I was after. Yeah, sorry. Yeah, he's briefing you at 10:30. He.
Colonel Rhombus doesn't, Doesn't know any other information.
He's just been told to release you from training, let you know that you're. You're now fully released agents and you're going to get on the helicopter and meet up with the Secret Service.
There are civilian clothes on the helicopter you can change into during the flight.
[00:10:16] Speaker C: Perfect.
We do that.
[00:10:20] Speaker B: Okay, so you're gonna. So, so once you reach the ground, it's gonna be approximately 1100.
You're going to get on the ground at Pineton, Maine, and you, you meet up with the Secret Service. And yeah, Special Agent Ellis meets you.
And Special Agent Ellis tells you, you know, we're. We're letting you guys tag along because, you know, we were ordered to and we could use all the help we can get. But honestly, I. I just need you to stay out of our way. Here's, you know, some base equipment if you need it. He hands each duty issue.
[00:11:02] Speaker C: 3.
[00:11:02] Speaker B: Seven magnum revolver and one Uzi that's got the.
The harness like you see the Secret Service agents wear. If you remember the. The famous shot where when Reagan got shot, the one kind of bewildered agent who pulled the Uzi out, it's kind of looking around for. For any kind of targets. So you have one of those and. And he says there's a. A vehicle you can use.
And, you know, you. You can check it, check out on leads on your own. In fact, there. There's a haunted mansion in the area. Why don't you guys go check that out? That would be great. That would save me from wasting my men on that useless lead.
And. And so he. He hands you the stuff, goes. Any questions for me?
[00:11:51] Speaker A: Radio communication with him.
[00:11:53] Speaker B: He. He.
[00:11:53] Speaker C: He.
[00:11:53] Speaker B: He gives you a handheld radio. Yeah, I'll walkie talkie.
[00:11:59] Speaker C: Jason, who do we work for?
[00:12:02] Speaker B: You're. You're DIA agents.
Defense Intelligence Agency agents.
[00:12:08] Speaker C: Okay.
And he is Secret Service or is he something else?
[00:12:11] Speaker B: Secret Service Y.
Okay.
[00:12:17] Speaker C: Duke, I presume you'll take the Uzi because I think you're probably better at fire combat than I am.
[00:12:22] Speaker A: Do we each get one or is it.
[00:12:24] Speaker B: Each get Auburn? There's one Uzi.
[00:12:26] Speaker A: Oh, okay, that's fine.
[00:12:29] Speaker C: And I have no idea. Is there a. For combat values? Is there a range combat value? There's not, is there?
[00:12:35] Speaker B: You. You take your offense and you add it to the weapons.
[00:12:41] Speaker C: There you go. Yeah, mine's pretty low. My offense is 33, Sean, so it's pretty low.
[00:12:45] Speaker B: Yeah. Sean's is better or Duke's is better?
[00:12:47] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:12:49] Speaker C: Okay.
Being a. A, you know, chain of command kind of guy, I'll just be like, yep, yes, sir. We can't. Can do. But as soon as he's out of sight. John, do you have more questions for Special Agent douchebag Ellis?
[00:13:02] Speaker B: No.
[00:13:03] Speaker A: I'm kind of nerdy, so I don't really talk and speak up very often. So I just kind of follow orders at this point.
[00:13:10] Speaker B: Just let us know.
Yeah, excellent. Don't call us. We'll call you. And he walks off.
You guys are in downtown Pineton, so this is actually going to be a flashback. This is effectively a flashback. But I want to give you a chance if you wanted to gear up with anything else. Give you an opportunity to do that.
So you've each got the.357 revolvers. So just real quick on your sheets. Write down your pwv. This is the base value.
If you have to use those revolvers, it's conveniently it's 40.
So for Thomas, 73 is your, your PWV.
[00:13:55] Speaker C: Got it.
[00:13:56] Speaker B: And for Duke it's going to be 97.
Uzi is and the Uzi is going to be.
It's 78. So add 78 to your 57. I'll let you do math.
[00:14:17] Speaker C: Do we have to count rounds? Do we have to like have bullets?
[00:14:22] Speaker B: Yeah. So the revolvers have six shots each.
[00:14:24] Speaker C: That's it. It doesn't give us like a box hold six shots.
[00:14:27] Speaker B: Yeah. And any.
He gives you one fifty round box ammo along with them.
So you've each effectively got 25 shots total if you split up evenly.
And then the Uzi, you, you've got one 25 round magazine and two 32 round magazines.
[00:15:07] Speaker C: And is there some sort of logistics or supply, you know, officer, where we can go and try to requisition like binoculars and that kind of thing?
[00:15:16] Speaker B: No, but there is a sporting goods place in town. You've got low rent, man.
You've got $200 cash if you want to pick up any other.
[00:15:28] Speaker C: I don't know, I don't know about you, Sean, with or Duke. I mean that's good in character.
We don't have much gear, but I don't want to take the time to go to a sporting goods store.
We need to check out this mansion as as long a shot as that seems.
I agree.
[00:15:44] Speaker A: And if we do buy anything, make sure you keep your receipts. I know that they're, they're. Last time I expensed something took like six months to get reimbursed. Just so just a heads up.
[00:15:55] Speaker C: Yeah, I'm familiar with it. I think it all depends on your commanding officer. Frankly, it can work pretty efficiently or it can get gummed up pretty bad.
[00:16:02] Speaker A: That's true.
[00:16:06] Speaker C: Can we, can we requisition a vehicle?
[00:16:08] Speaker B: Yes. He did give you keys to a, to a standard Oldsmobile Buick sedan.
[00:16:13] Speaker A: Right over there, Thomas.
[00:16:15] Speaker B: Yeah, it's, it's, it's single.
[00:16:16] Speaker A: The keys.
[00:16:17] Speaker B: Right. It's tan with a little bit of rust.
[00:16:23] Speaker C: It is the 80s.
It's, it's brand new and has rust spots.
[00:16:27] Speaker A: Yeah, but it's made out of metal.
[00:16:30] Speaker B: That's right. It is made out of metal.
[00:16:31] Speaker C: It weighs 6,000 pounds. Yeah, it's a sedan all right. Walking towards the car, Thomas will say, I'll drive.
He opens the eight foot long door. It's a two door giant, two doors.
Open the door. Get in, pull it shut.
[00:16:50] Speaker B: Kaboom.
All right.
[00:16:53] Speaker C: Do we have a map that shows us where this mansion is?
[00:16:59] Speaker B: You do not have a. Yeah, you can. That's fine because I'd love that as a description. Bad jam. Yes, you do have a map.
You can tell it's a sprawling.
He. He's. It's got. It's circled on the map. It's outside of town. It's his 180 acre spread. Like I say, this big estate.
[00:17:24] Speaker C: Okay. Yeah. So I will say that a map of the general area is probably what we're after.
[00:17:29] Speaker B: Right? Well, it is. It's. It's like a. Yeah, it's. It's like a Thomas guide.
If you remember those. The if. So do I need to explain Thomas? So Thomas Gods are big map books you could buy for different areas.
[00:17:44] Speaker C: I was a Rand McNally guy. Same thing. Yeah. So.
[00:17:47] Speaker B: Yeah. So this is a. Yeah. And. And it. So you've got that for. For Maine and it's circled there you go like upper. I. I didn't pull up Maine, but you go up Route 9 and it's like 10 miles out of town.
[00:18:01] Speaker C: The airline route. Yeah.
[00:18:02] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:18:03] Speaker C: I've driven that road many times.
It's beautiful country up here.
I say as we drive.
Okay.
[00:18:13] Speaker A: You get up here much?
[00:18:16] Speaker C: Well, I was from New York, so we spent a lot for a bit of time in New England vacationing when I was a kid. See these blueberry field fields? University of Maine runs all these experimental blueberries, believe it or not.
[00:18:26] Speaker B: Really?
[00:18:27] Speaker C: That's true.
Interesting.
[00:18:30] Speaker B: So. Interestingly enough. Let's see. You don't. I think to do Roll me a knowledge check roll. Just roll me percentile against your knowledge there, Thomas.
[00:18:42] Speaker C: We'll see if 30 I passed. I have.
[00:18:45] Speaker B: Okay.
[00:18:46] Speaker C: You.
[00:18:46] Speaker B: You remember from being up around this area, rumors you've heard or things you've heard about the Worthington Estate.
You remember this? It's this old estate. It was built in the 19th century. There's a lot of tragedy there.
The. The person who built it, he was. He lived there with his daughter. And then he in back in the depression of the 1890s. He lost all his money, hung himself.
His daughter had found him and had a nervous breakdown. Sent to a sanatorium. Later on, she married a gentleman who died in the span. Who then died in the Spanish American War. She married again. That husband was killed in World War I.
She was becoming shunned by this time. That's, you know, one of the reasons the story is told a lot.
She married if a third time. Well, 1, 2, 3. She married the last time and. And that guy went bust in the Great Depression. So at that point she. And he shot himself. So at that point she went insane, stabbed two servants, then killed herself. And it's been a haunted estate ever since.
[00:19:53] Speaker C: As you do. Yeah, I'm picturing Sean or Duke. We're both wearing sunglasses as we drive. And I'm relaying this information to you. Route 9 is very curvaceous. It's like it's not a straight road, it's through dense woods for the most part.
But as I describe it, I am also going to say, Jason, I don't know about haunted, but it certainly is a piece of land and a home that's filled with tragedy. All these deaths, you know, rumors. I wouldn't be calling it if I was, you know, the agent in charge of finding the President. I wouldn't be calling it a haunted mansion. I'd call it a location of interest that we need to check because it's a place that is long abandoned and might house ne' er do wells and other folks who they're trying to. If you're trying to hide a car or land a plane in a big field, this place might be something that's on the list.
Hopefully that's true, Jason.
[00:20:48] Speaker B: Yeah, well, he had about. He seemed to have as much respect for the idea that this was a place of interest as he did as you as agents. So I get it. You see the sneer, you know, as he was talking to you, you conveyed.
[00:21:00] Speaker C: His douchery in very few words. It was.
[00:21:06] Speaker B: Okay, so we head there. Yep, you head there. There's. There's one road into these, into the estate.
The paved road stops, it turns into a dirt road for the access road and it's a 10 foot wide dirt drive along, you know, this heavily wooded area.
And as you pull up, the driveway curves enough.
You can't quite see the manner when you reach yet. You can't quite see the manner yet when you reach a gate.
It's heavy gate with a heavy chain across the road.
[00:21:49] Speaker C: Looks like it's travel. Does it look like it's in disuse and are there any tracks?
[00:21:54] Speaker B: You don't see any immediate. Are you getting out of the car?
[00:21:58] Speaker C: Yes. So let me reframe a little bit. I think I'll pull the car over off to the side. Hopefully undercover, out of sight.
And I'll say I think we're on foot from here, from here on. I don't want to let them know we're coming anyway. Even if that gate had been open, I'm going to suggest we go on foot, Jason, from here on the map, is it quarter mile to the home? Like, how far is it to the home?
[00:22:19] Speaker B: Well, right now you can't see because the road turns a little bit as you get out. You do notice that this is a.
Like, say it's a really heavy chain. It's got a rusted padlock on it.
So it. And there's a sign on the left post there. It says no trespassing. It's an old, old sign, but yeah. So you're gonna have to kind of. You can easily bypass the. The gate on foot if we're on foot. Yeah, on foot, you can. And then.
[00:22:48] Speaker C: What do you think, Duke?
[00:22:52] Speaker A: Well, I don't.
Do we need to be.
Are we just looking to see if anything's here? Because I don't know if that's.
Do we need to go on foot? I don't know how.
How far this is.
[00:23:05] Speaker C: Can we tell from the map, Jason? Can we see the lane on the map? Like, if we go on foot, are we. Are you gonna be. We're gonna be walking for an hour or gonna be walking for, like, 10 minutes?
[00:23:14] Speaker B: You're not sure?
[00:23:15] Speaker C: Okay, the.
[00:23:16] Speaker B: Because the map is kind of. It's not zoomed into this. You know, it's a bigger map. And he just has a circle on there.
[00:23:21] Speaker C: Yeah, I got you. And probably. Did I get you now? It's. It's such a large scale, it probably doesn't even have the lane on it. Right?
[00:23:28] Speaker B: Yeah, well, it's. Yeah, it doesn't have the. The access road on it. It's. Yeah, it's got Route Mountain.
[00:23:35] Speaker C: But can we. Can we tell from here? Is there high ground somewhere or a clearing where we'll get a better line of sight on where the property is.
[00:23:43] Speaker B: In other words, like I say, heavily wooded. So where you're at right now, you know, there are trees on either side of you, and along. And you can see the. The road curves. You probably have to go up to that curve to.
To get an idea.
A curve in the road.
[00:23:57] Speaker A: Just take a look at this lock.
[00:23:58] Speaker C: I don't know.
[00:23:59] Speaker A: It looks kind of old and worn and rusted. Let me see.
[00:24:03] Speaker C: While you do that, I'll do some recon. I'm going to run up to that curve in a stealthy way or move up there while he looks at the lock.
[00:24:10] Speaker B: Okay, so let's do the lock first, and then we'll do the recon.
The way we handle.
Oh, the way we handle locks in this is you are going to use your deactivation value.
So the lock has a certain value that for the purpose of what we're doing here, I'm going to tell you what the value is, just so the mechanics are clear and what we're doing. The lock has a value of 30.
So we take your deactivation value, which is 51, we subtract 30 from that, and that 21 is your chance to pick that lock.
If you had lock picks, that would give you a much better chance.
[00:24:53] Speaker A: But I mean, assessing it even before I know those odds with metallurgy, do I. Can I understand the integrity of the metal that is part of the lock and the oxidation. Level of oxidation.
[00:25:08] Speaker B: Yeah. If you wanted to brute force it or break the lock off, if you have something to do that there's. I mean, I'm sure there's a tire iron in the car that would give. Yeah, you could use that metallurgy to get that idea. You could. You can tell by looking at it that although it's rusted, it's still pretty solid.
So it's going to be. It's not. You might be able to pop it with the tire iron, but it's going to be tough. It's a heavy duty, you know, lock, but there is room in there. If you tried to pop it, you might be able to.
[00:25:37] Speaker A: Okay, I'll give it a shot. I'll walk. Walk back. But as I look down the driveway and I kind of shake my head at Thomas's overzealousness, I don't know.
[00:25:51] Speaker B: As it goes from tree to tree.
[00:25:52] Speaker A: To tree, I don't know if I take it as my job, currently as serious as he does. So I go back to the trunk, I pop it open and rummage through that to see if I can find the crowbar or a tire iron. And then I go up to the. To the lock and start, like hitting it.
Yeah. Clang and hit the gate and you know, like.
[00:26:16] Speaker B: Okay, so. So as you're doing that is you've got your tire and you come back into the lock. You're about to do that. We're going to switch to Thomas, who reaches that curve in the road. And Thomas, what you see is that after the turn, the driveway leads north for about an eighth of a mile. And then it opens up into a clearing.
It's a pretty big clearing. And you see the Mantra mansion there in the center of the clearing.
[00:26:40] Speaker C: Okay, so it wouldn't take us longer than 10, 15 minutes to get There, basically.
[00:26:43] Speaker B: Oh, not. Yeah. I mean, probably not even that. Okay.
[00:26:48] Speaker C: Yeah, not even that.
[00:26:49] Speaker B: Yeah. So. Yeah. So now if. So to try to. To force this or. I'm sorry, I'm jump. I don't mean to step on Thomas. So you see that. You see mansions just around the corner, basically.
[00:27:05] Speaker C: Can I see it well enough to see if there are any parked vehicles or lights on or anything like that?
[00:27:09] Speaker B: Right. So you see no lights. You do not see any vehicles around the mansion. The mansion is.
There is a stone well visible in the southwest or southwest of the west corner of the house.
The mansion's a two story wood frame house.
There are windows every. You're. You can see the front of the house and they're. They're window, first floor and second floor windows. On the front there's a big double doors. There's a porch, a heavy porch on the front there. It's a steeped roof. You don't see. You don't think there's an attic up there is as low as the roof is or, you know, at the angle. There are two chimneys on the side that from this distance, that's really about all you can. And so, you know, you have to get a little bit closer to, you know, investigate more.
[00:28:01] Speaker C: Okay, I'll just jog back down the path then to where he's still beating on the chain.
[00:28:06] Speaker B: Right, so. So as you jog back, you see him beating on the chain.
So forced entry.
[00:28:11] Speaker C: The.
[00:28:11] Speaker B: The way this works is there's a value that I'm supposed to roll randomly.
[00:28:16] Speaker C: Did you even try to pick it, Duke?
[00:28:19] Speaker A: I don't have the lock pick, do I?
[00:28:21] Speaker B: No. I mean, you have a 21% chance to try to with. With something if you probably have your.
[00:28:27] Speaker C: Own keys that you could have like, you know, you could have jiggered it.
[00:28:30] Speaker B: But.
[00:28:31] Speaker C: Understood. I understand who you are, Duke. I get it now.
[00:28:36] Speaker B: He's all about the force.
[00:28:37] Speaker A: So let's say I'm tugging on it with my hand.
[00:28:40] Speaker B: Oh, trying to.
[00:28:41] Speaker C: Trying to pick it.
[00:28:43] Speaker B: So the good value for. The good thing for you, Duke, is you're. You're pretty strong.
Okay, so Romy, percentile dice and let's see if you are able to. To knock it off.
[00:28:57] Speaker A: I rolled an 80 even, sir.
[00:28:59] Speaker B: No, it. So you're whacking on it, but it's. It's holding. Yeah.
[00:29:07] Speaker C: What are you doing?
[00:29:08] Speaker A: I go back to the car. Like, if he's not back yet, I go back to the car.
[00:29:11] Speaker B: Yes.
[00:29:11] Speaker A: This is obviously not the right tool I need.
[00:29:13] Speaker B: So. Right is you're like, you know, Wang.
[00:29:17] Speaker C: Wang.
[00:29:18] Speaker B: And Thomas gets back. Yeah, for sure. Yeah.
[00:29:21] Speaker C: Duke. Duke, what do you do? Duke, stop it. We're trying to keep. Lay low here, and if there's anybody up there, we don't want to know we're coming. You're making a lot of racket.
[00:29:32] Speaker A: It's.
Yeah. Okay.
[00:29:35] Speaker C: Come on. Let's just go on foot. It's not very far. After the bend is about an eighth of a mile. House was up there. It looks abandoned. We might be able to do just what the Ellis said and just check this place off the list. I don't see anybody up there, but let's go make sure. Come on.
[00:29:49] Speaker A: Do we need anything from the car?
[00:29:51] Speaker C: Whatever you need to clear the place?
[00:29:53] Speaker A: Yeah, I think I'm good.
I got the tire iron in my hand and realize it's in my hand. I don't know what to do with it, so I just drop it on the ground.
[00:30:04] Speaker C: I'll look down up a tire and look back at Duke. I. I pick it up and I go back and put it in the trunk where it belongs.
[00:30:10] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:30:11] Speaker B: As you look in the trunk, you do see that in the trunk is a spare tire.
[00:30:17] Speaker C: Y.
[00:30:17] Speaker B: The tire iron.
And. And there are some couple flashlights.
And that's about it in the trunk.
[00:30:29] Speaker C: Flashlights. I'll toss one to Duke. I'll take one.
Nothing else in these.
[00:30:33] Speaker A: Were these in there?
[00:30:34] Speaker B: Yeah. When you looked, I mean, what I.
[00:30:36] Speaker A: Asked Thomas, like, oh, you. These were in there.
[00:30:38] Speaker B: Oh, gotcha.
[00:30:39] Speaker C: They were. They were just off to the side, Duke.
[00:30:41] Speaker B: Oh, yeah.
[00:30:43] Speaker A: Flip it on to see if they work. Like, I look straight at it and turn it on.
[00:30:46] Speaker C: Big, big D cell flashlights.
[00:30:48] Speaker B: Well, these are. These are actually. Remember. Yeah.
[00:30:50] Speaker C: Big ones.
[00:30:51] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah.
[00:30:52] Speaker C: Big silver rail vac.
[00:30:54] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:30:54] Speaker A: Maxi, probably.
[00:30:56] Speaker C: I think this is before mag lights.
[00:30:57] Speaker B: Oh.
[00:30:58] Speaker C: You know, but. But the big silver railback ones where they club somebody.
[00:31:03] Speaker B: Right. But they. But of course, they put out, like, hardly. It's like a pen, like, today.
[00:31:08] Speaker C: I know, I know.
[00:31:10] Speaker B: It's like, about as bright as your phones.
[00:31:14] Speaker A: Can they be the square ones?
[00:31:15] Speaker B: Yeah, they are. Yeah.
You hold it with.
[00:31:18] Speaker C: Oh, those are hand.
[00:31:20] Speaker A: You got a handle on them. But they take the square batteries, like.
[00:31:23] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
[00:31:24] Speaker A: Bolts or whatever. I don't even know.
[00:31:25] Speaker C: Yeah, those are awesome.
[00:31:26] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:31:27] Speaker A: The coils on them.
[00:31:28] Speaker C: And it's like a little thing that fits on top of the battery. Right?
[00:31:32] Speaker B: Right.
[00:31:32] Speaker C: Yes, it fits right on top of it. Yeah. Okay.
[00:31:34] Speaker B: I'm cool with it.
Yep.
[00:31:36] Speaker C: And you're. And you're right, Jason. It's this weak yellow, you know, piss dream light.
[00:31:42] Speaker B: Yeah. Yep, Terrible.
[00:31:45] Speaker C: All right, we got our lights. Nothing else in the car. I mean, we would have. We would have equipped ourselves, but the idea is the president's in trouble. Move quickly. Right.
[00:31:54] Speaker A: I was wondering, like, why are you going to the car? To put the tire iron back. Come on.
[00:31:58] Speaker C: Well, I got these lights as well, but the tire arm we might need later. And I'll leave the tire iron in the car.
It's just good to clean up after yourself, sir.
Let's go.
I'll. I'll start jogging with our lights up towards the house.
[00:32:14] Speaker A: Okay.
[00:32:15] Speaker C: Come on, Duke.
[00:32:16] Speaker A: I try to keep up.
[00:32:17] Speaker C: Okay.
[00:32:18] Speaker B: You can. You guys both have the. You're both average in here. We are your movie value and. Yeah. So, yeah, you. You keep up without a problem. Okay, so you come around and you see the same thing that Thomas saw is big clearing. As you get a little bit closer to it, you know, you see it's about a 300 foot clearing on each side of the house. Right? So it's a big clearing, big mansions in the center. Like say it's two big two story wood frame house.
You can see the. You know, there's a porch, double doors, windows on the front, you see chimneys on the side, you see a well off to one side of it.
[00:32:53] Speaker A: Jason, do we have radios between the two of us?
[00:32:57] Speaker B: No, you just have the one walkie talkie.
[00:32:59] Speaker A: Fantastic. Okay.
[00:33:02] Speaker C: Budget cuts, man.
[00:33:04] Speaker A: Damn it. Damn it.
[00:33:05] Speaker B: And do you look at your walkie talkie?
[00:33:08] Speaker A: I do.
[00:33:08] Speaker C: Oh, hell yeah.
[00:33:09] Speaker B: Yeah, as you look at it now, you see that the batteries are messed up.
[00:33:15] Speaker A: I knock it on my hand. Like, think of the battery can go up higher.
[00:33:18] Speaker B: Yeah. It doesn't. Yes.
[00:33:20] Speaker C: What are you doing, dude? What's wrong with it?
[00:33:22] Speaker A: It's almost out of juice.
[00:33:25] Speaker C: Of course.
[00:33:25] Speaker B: Of his.
[00:33:26] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:33:28] Speaker A: Probably shouldn't use it very often in case something happens. I turn it off.
[00:33:33] Speaker C: I'm just going to say save the battery for me. Need it.
[00:33:37] Speaker B: Okay, so you're there. It's. We'll say you're. You're there by the wood line, you know, at the base of the clearing. So.
[00:33:46] Speaker C: So there are no outbuildings, no barns?
No and no.
[00:33:51] Speaker B: Just the main built. Yeah, just the main building there.
[00:33:53] Speaker C: And no fresh tracks.
[00:33:55] Speaker B: Well, car tracks. No car tracks or anything. You do notice though, since you ask, that the. The roadway is suspiciously clear of vegetation that you would walk down as the driveway.
[00:34:08] Speaker C: You know, as in it's been cleared or as in it's been driven over a lot.
[00:34:12] Speaker B: Well, there's no tracks, but you don't know, but you don't notice. You normally, you expect to see some vegetation maybe.
[00:34:18] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:34:18] Speaker B: Weeds growing up and all. There's none of that.
You know, the dirt path is totally clear.
[00:34:22] Speaker C: Someone's keeping this upd. There's no. It's not overgrown like I would expect it to be. Like the roads roll. The lame we were on checks out might be here. Yeah.
[00:34:34] Speaker A: Joy, want to. You want. You want. You want to go to the back?
[00:34:39] Speaker C: Is there any way to approach the building undercover? Probably not. There's a 300 foot stay in the wood line.
[00:34:43] Speaker B: You can. You could skirt the edge of the wood line. Yeah. You could stay there right inside the wood line and go around the clearing if you want.
[00:34:49] Speaker C: Okay. I think approaching from. Not from the front is probably a better idea. Yeah. Skirt to the back, approach that way. Okay.
[00:34:57] Speaker B: As you go around on the wood line, you see there, there are also windows on the side of the house.
You notice that none of the windows are broken.
As you're going around the. Are you going to. Which way are you going around?
[00:35:11] Speaker C: East. Sean, you okay with that?
[00:35:12] Speaker A: Yeah, we'll go counterclockwise.
[00:35:15] Speaker C: I'm picturing we're coming from the south. I don't know if that's true.
[00:35:18] Speaker B: Right.
[00:35:19] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:35:19] Speaker B: So. So you're looking at the front. You're. You're looking at. You're the clearing and you're looking at the front door, you know, which is due north.
Yes, Correct.
[00:35:28] Speaker C: Then we go east.
[00:35:30] Speaker B: Okay. So you're going around the left side of the house as you're looking out.
[00:35:33] Speaker C: Of the house to our right. Right?
[00:35:35] Speaker A: Yes, we are boundary overwatch. So I would imagine, like somebody's watching the house. The person moves forward, that person stops, watches the house. The other person, you know, leap. Leapfrogs them. So that we're always kind of watching the house as we.
[00:35:53] Speaker B: Right, yeah.
[00:35:53] Speaker A: Or move around.
[00:35:54] Speaker B: So you're going around just because Harrigan said left to your right, you're going around as you're looking at the house. You're going around the right side in front of you or.
Yeah, I'm not trying to be difficult. It just. Yeah, yeah.
[00:36:07] Speaker C: Yep.
[00:36:08] Speaker B: Okay. Okay.
[00:36:09] Speaker C: To our right.
[00:36:10] Speaker B: Okay, Got it. Yeah. So as you can do that in the clearing, you don't see any people or anything as you go. As you're going around the house. This is the side of the house that has the chimneys. So there's two chimneys. There's one towards the front of the house, one towards the back of the house. You also see doors that. For the.
Like the. The root cellar effectively, right? Yep. You see root cellar doors there kind of in. On the ground there in the middle of the flush on this side of the house. Yep. Yeah, but you see, you know, comes up a little bit. So you see doors to a root cellar on. On that side of the house as you go around.
As you go as you kind of get around to the back of the house or again, there are windows, unbroken windows, first, second floor windows. And there is a. One door towards the.
I guess it'd be the north east corner of the house.
There's. So there's one door in the back. There's just a single door.
Like a. Yeah, yeah. It's an exterior door, but it's not double like in the front. It's just a single door. Yep.
[00:37:12] Speaker C: It's probably like the. Like the kitchen entrance to the back entrance kind of thing. Yeah, so that's right. Mud room. Yep. So for the, for the rumors or the stories I remembered this place hasn't been occupied since like the twenties. Was that right?
[00:37:27] Speaker B: Yeah, since the.
It was like 1930 when she.
Yeah, because he. Because the Great Depression.
Her last husband killed himself and then she went insane and killed subservancing.
[00:37:39] Speaker C: I will, I will say for being 50 years unoccupied, the place looks pretty good.
But you know, I don't have all the.
I may not have been told all the stories. Maybe some relatives moved in after that.
[00:37:53] Speaker A: I won't hold you to it.
[00:37:54] Speaker C: I think we should get up there and look inside.
[00:37:58] Speaker A: Yeah. So is the. Jason, the side of the building with the chimneys is that pretty?
Is that minus a lot of window invisibility from the house?
[00:38:10] Speaker B: There are actually.
[00:38:12] Speaker C: Correct.
[00:38:13] Speaker B: There are windows on the second story on that side. There are not any first story windows on that side.
[00:38:19] Speaker C: It's a good vantage point to approach from.
[00:38:22] Speaker B: Yeah, there's three second story windows on that side where there's.
[00:38:26] Speaker C: You know, I'll watch the windows while Duke, you go forward and then I'll follow.
[00:38:33] Speaker A: Duke runs to the side of the house that is probably against one of those chimneys. If you will make sure it. As he's running, he doesn't see anybody popping their heads out from the windows. And then it's close to the wall. And then waits for Thomas to. To join him.
[00:38:58] Speaker C: If there's nothing of the. No events or anything. I'm gonna. I'll join them double time.
[00:39:04] Speaker A: Yeah, you don't.
[00:39:05] Speaker B: You don't see any movement in the windows?
Nothing like that.
[00:39:08] Speaker C: Let's go Check that back door.
If we. If we bypass windows on the way, I think we're, you know, being very careful to look in first, see what we can see in the windows.
[00:39:17] Speaker B: Yeah, and I might have said the wrong thing. So. Yeah, there's. There's.
[00:39:20] Speaker C: When.
[00:39:20] Speaker B: When you turn, the door is actually as you go to the rear of the house. So you. You go past the root cellar doors, you go past chimneys.
[00:39:28] Speaker C: Is.
[00:39:28] Speaker B: You get to the corner of the house and you look, it's actually that room. So the doors just around the corner there, There's. Okay, there's one window, but if. If, you know, you can go under that window without a big deal. And then, you know, they're just short steps to get up to that door.
[00:39:42] Speaker C: Understood. The windows in between us and the door. But I think we peek in the window before. Before we go to the door. You know, one eye kind of, you know.
[00:39:51] Speaker B: Yeah, so. So you do that. You kind of like lift up just one eye, show the middle of your head as you do that. It appears to be a kitchen.
I knew it.
You see a large stone fireplace in there, which maps of the chimney right on the side of the house you just passed.
[00:40:13] Speaker C: Does it look occupied? Are there utensils out? Is there garbage everywhere?
[00:40:18] Speaker B: Now, it appears to have been the kitchen there. There are some cabinets and counters in here, but you don't see. There's not even a table in here.
Yeah, it's. It's pretty. It's a pretty much an empty room.
[00:40:33] Speaker A: Jay said, is the window covering like a lacy see through kind of curtain, or is it just open?
[00:40:42] Speaker B: Yeah, it's just. The window's just open. There's not a. Yeah, there's. There's no kind of curtains or anything on it.
[00:40:47] Speaker C: Can we tell when the last time these windows. Let's get. Let's get down and dirty here.
Are these double pane. Are these storm windows?
[00:40:56] Speaker B: And are they.
[00:40:57] Speaker C: Or are they 50 years old? I have architecture.
[00:41:00] Speaker B: You have architecture. Yes. So that will be useful here and engineering construction.
I have all this. And you have. Yeah. So Your architecture is 92. Your engine is 121. You have high values in those. So you. These window. This window look to be newly. Pretty new last, you know, within the last five years, ten years. They're okay. You, you know. Yeah, they appear to be pretty new windows.
You know, the new, new modernish windows that are on here.
[00:41:31] Speaker C: Okay. I re. Relay that.
Although, you know, it's not like they're just installed. So the fact that they're five years old might Be meaningless. Right.
I think we should go inside to check this place out. Do we have badges or like. Not. No warrant, obviously, but do we have some sort of.
[00:41:49] Speaker B: Yeah, they gave you credentials that say Secret Service because you're not gonna have DIA ones. They gave you fake Secret Service credentials. Cool. They're not fake. I mean, they're. They're valid, but they're, you know.
[00:42:00] Speaker C: Well, we're about to find out. They're probably fake.
[00:42:02] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:42:04] Speaker C: Let's go open the door. I'll. I'll do the. You know, try it while you stand and clear it, if you know what I mean. Right. Two. Two person clear on the door.
Yeah, we Rainbow six this.
[00:42:16] Speaker B: Okay, so as you go up to the door, we are going to.
Let me look at Duke's shoot.
[00:42:22] Speaker C: Oh, ten goblins emerge.
[00:42:26] Speaker B: Yeah. Roll me a.
Give me a roll.
I don't even tell you what to roll because it's always present.
[00:42:32] Speaker C: Well, this is.
[00:42:32] Speaker B: Whoever's checking the door. This is.
I'm sorry. I know I said Duke, I apologize. Thomas.
Thomas, Thomas.
[00:42:40] Speaker C: His hands on the door while.
[00:42:41] Speaker B: Dude. Okay, so, Thomas, give me. Yeah, I apologize. Thomas.
[00:42:44] Speaker C: Straight. Straight percentile 63.
[00:42:47] Speaker B: Okay, so.
And. And you just. You can kind of see if it's locked and then open it. Is the idea.
[00:42:55] Speaker C: Yes, exactly.
[00:42:56] Speaker B: Okay.
[00:42:57] Speaker C: While, like, you know, the idea would be see if it's locked. If I think it's unlocked, I'm going to try to turn the knob, push it open, step out of the way so he can cover anything inside.
[00:43:06] Speaker B: Right. Okay.
So you. You're able to unlock it. You push it open, and as you push it open, you can hear a moaning come. It sounds like.
[00:43:23] Speaker C: Like a.
[00:43:24] Speaker B: A woman's moaning coming from. Not like a pleasurable moan, but like a, you know, moan to.
[00:43:30] Speaker C: Wait. That's unfortunate.
[00:43:32] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:43:33] Speaker C: Kind of game is this.
[00:43:34] Speaker B: Yeah. Coming from inside the house.
[00:43:38] Speaker C: I'll just raise an eyebrow at Duke.
[00:43:42] Speaker A: I. I shrug. I don't. I don't say anything.
[00:43:45] Speaker C: I just shrug and I'll pull out my own.357. And I'm just going to give him the hit the lead because you have the Uzi if you want.
[00:43:54] Speaker A: Yeah, I pull out. I don't want to use that thing in here. Maybe.
[00:44:00] Speaker C: Submachine gun the hell out of that ghost.
[00:44:02] Speaker A: Yes.
[00:44:04] Speaker C: I'm sure I'll hold the door for him so you can go in.
[00:44:06] Speaker A: I'm sure it's a hostage or a terrorist that's probably making the noise.
[00:44:12] Speaker C: Yeah. So we need to go in quietly is the point.
Right.
We're going to try to sneak into the kitchen.
[00:44:18] Speaker B: Understood? Yeah. You can do that? Yep.
So once you're. Once you're both in. So. So Duke is able to. To. To go first and you know, goes off to the side and he's, he's holding. You don't see anybody when you do go in. What you do see as you enter that room is there are doors.
There are two doors on the right hand wall and one door. Two door. I'm sorry, there's three doors on the right hand wall and there's two doors in the wall directly in front of you. On the left hand wall is the chimney. Fireplace is the old fireplace.
So the first doors are shut.
[00:44:58] Speaker A: The first door I would come to is on the left or the right.
[00:45:03] Speaker B: It is to your right. The first door you would come to is on is towards your right there. All the doors are shut.
[00:45:08] Speaker A: I move to what would be the right side of that door facing it. Right. If I were to face it, I'd be on the right side as I come up.
[00:45:16] Speaker B: Got it.
[00:45:17] Speaker A: And I sit and listen.
[00:45:18] Speaker C: Like, where's the moaning coming from?
[00:45:20] Speaker B: Basically you hear it from coming from inside the house somewhere in the interior of the house. You can't really tell.
[00:45:28] Speaker C: Okay.
[00:45:28] Speaker B: What does Thomas do?
[00:45:29] Speaker C: So it's pretty loud.
[00:45:30] Speaker B: Duke is. Yeah, it's fairly. It's pretty loud. Duke, is it. You see Duke take position alongside.
[00:45:37] Speaker C: If we're gonna. If we're gonna need to make decisions about which. Which door to go through when there's like four or five doors in the room. Is there any way you could drop a sketch or a. Yep. Little map in the zoom thing?
[00:45:46] Speaker B: I can.
[00:45:51] Speaker C: Or a screenshot or whatever.
[00:45:52] Speaker B: Yeah, that's. Hold on one sec.
So like I say, Duke take. Duke has taken his position.
Yep.
[00:46:03] Speaker C: And I want to see the room before I tell you.
[00:46:05] Speaker B: Before I can.
[00:46:06] Speaker C: I can tell from looking at the old top secret materials, these were very D and D in terms of like the layout of the. Of the buildings matters.
[00:46:12] Speaker B: Yeah, that makes sense. Where.
Here it is.
That's my computer.
Why aren't you letting me post?
[00:46:27] Speaker C: Alternatively, if we don't want to bog this down, I can take up on the other side of the door.
[00:46:33] Speaker B: I'll. I'm going to drop in discord. But okay, so when, when you go in, do you leave the back door open? Do you.
[00:46:40] Speaker C: I will close the back door.
[00:46:41] Speaker B: Okay.
[00:46:42] Speaker C: Quietly.
[00:46:43] Speaker B: Okay.
Once you close the back door, as you're moving to the other side of that door, with maybe five seconds after you close the door, the moaning stops.
And I'm gonna post this. I just. For whatever reason.
[00:47:05] Speaker A: Duke, like, noticeably freezes to. To, like.
[00:47:10] Speaker C: Yeah. Do. Yeah. Listening for, like, footfalls or.
[00:47:13] Speaker B: Okay, this is reversed, but you came in from the top of the screen. Yep.
[00:47:19] Speaker C: I see the window we peeked in through. I see the door.
[00:47:21] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:47:22] Speaker C: The fireplace to the. To the right.
[00:47:24] Speaker B: Correct. Yeah. And you guys around that. That first.
So now it's on the left of that image. Top door on the left.
[00:47:32] Speaker C: Yep. So, Duke, you want to. You want to take these doors one at a time, just. And just clear them.
In other words, open it, see what's beyond it. Open the next one, see what's beyond it. Open the next one, see what's beyond it.
You okay with that, Duke?
[00:47:45] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:47:46] Speaker C: Okay.
[00:47:48] Speaker B: Okay.
[00:47:50] Speaker C: Man, it's a lot of doors. And this was a kitchen, right?
[00:47:53] Speaker B: Yes, this appears to have been a kitchen. There. There are some. You. You do see some cabinets, and I.
[00:48:00] Speaker C: Think I would do a. I would do a. Yeah. I would do a cursory check.
[00:48:03] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:48:04] Speaker C: In a few cupboards and cabinets to see if, like, has this been sitting empty for 50. 50 years? Or are there plates here that are more like from this. From the 60s or 70s, that kind of thing?
[00:48:13] Speaker B: Okay, so. So as you do a cursory check of the room, you don't see. Everything's bare.
[00:48:19] Speaker C: Okay.
[00:48:20] Speaker B: There's. There's nothing in.
[00:48:21] Speaker C: It's abandoned.
[00:48:22] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah, it's pretty abandoned.
[00:48:26] Speaker C: You.
[00:48:26] Speaker B: You do see that there's some ashes in the fireplace at the base of the fireplace, or ashes.
So, like pot. They look maybe not as old as the dust on the windowsills of the windows that aren't. That are brand new or not.
[00:48:44] Speaker C: Gesture to them and just quietly say, someone's been here.
We can hear somebody. Let's try that door.
[00:48:53] Speaker A: It'd be teenagers.
[00:48:55] Speaker B: Yep.
[00:48:56] Speaker C: Understood.
[00:48:57] Speaker B: Okay.
Okay, so as you open that first door, it opens up into a room. It is.
Let's see. These are 10. So it's. It's a 30 by 20 room.
That is. Well, I'll just post a picture. It's. It's an empty, dusty room is what it is. But I'll slowly give you pictures of all this stuff.
Sorry.
You're fine.
[00:49:29] Speaker C: It's all good.
[00:49:42] Speaker B: You came in the door there on the right.
Okay. Yeah. It's just. There's no other exits to this room. There are two windows in the room, but it's empty and dusty.
[00:49:51] Speaker A: Okay. I close the door.
[00:49:54] Speaker B: Yep. And I don't.
[00:49:56] Speaker A: I don't latch it. I just close it.
[00:50:00] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:50:02] Speaker A: Nothing in there.
[00:50:03] Speaker C: Presumably these are all interior doors that don't lock, right?
[00:50:05] Speaker B: Correct.
[00:50:06] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:50:06] Speaker B: Unless maybe.
[00:50:07] Speaker C: Maybe if you had a skeleton key of thing. But yeah, I'll. I'll check that next door.
Just due south of the one we just checked.
[00:50:16] Speaker B: Right?
[00:50:20] Speaker C: I bet. At least to a hallway or a corridor or a water closet.
[00:50:26] Speaker A: Pantry.
[00:50:27] Speaker B: Yeah, Yeah. I should have anticipated this.
Pantries.
[00:50:34] Speaker C: Sorry, man. If we don't have to see everything, especially for rooms where there's not much there, you can just tell us. There's not much in there. That's fine.
[00:50:39] Speaker B: Well, but you're asking about doors and stuff, so it's. It's fair. Okay, so this is a hallway.
[00:50:44] Speaker C: I knew it.
[00:50:47] Speaker B: The. Wait, what is that? Sh. Hold on.
Snow maybe hit the description for the hallway.
It's a hallway. You can see the. The various doors.
I don't know what there's.
Yeah, there, there's. It's. It's. Again.
[00:51:07] Speaker C: They'Re all closed.
[00:51:07] Speaker B: All doors are closed. You don't see footprints or anything?
[00:51:10] Speaker C: Okay, I'm gonna say, Duke, there are like.
[00:51:14] Speaker B: There are some lights. So there's no lights on there. You don't see any evidence from outside.
[00:51:19] Speaker C: There's light coming in some of the rooms, right?
[00:51:21] Speaker B: Yeah, there's light coming in from outside, but there's no electricity or there's no lights interior on. You see some like chandeliers and stuff. Not chandeliers, but like gaslights, you know, fixtures. But there's no, you know.
[00:51:35] Speaker C: Got it, Duke.
[00:51:36] Speaker B: No active source.
[00:51:37] Speaker C: Let, Let. Let an ear to this hallway for a minute. So with the door open to that long hallway we just revealed, I'm going to go back to the back door and I'm going to open it up to see if the moaning starts again.
[00:51:47] Speaker B: Funny enough, it does.
Does start again.
[00:51:53] Speaker C: Yeah. So I'm going to say to Duke, I bet that's a recording.
I look for contacts or anything wired to the door.
Is the door got some kind of system that detects when it's opened?
Magnets, etc.
[00:52:08] Speaker B: Okay, so we are going to. Now we're going to do another check here. Let's see. What is your deception or deactivation? It's the activation. My deactivation is 45.
[00:52:20] Speaker C: The 45.
[00:52:21] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:52:21] Speaker C: Deception 63. 45. Am I rolling that?
[00:52:23] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah, it's. Yeah, it. Well, yeah. And it's minus the. The concealment value of the alarm, which I won't tell you. But you're trying to roll. You want to roll low, right?
[00:52:34] Speaker C: I rolled 45 exactly.
[00:52:36] Speaker B: Yeah. So you. Yeah, you look Over.
You don't. You don't notice at first glance. You don't see where. You don't see any contacts or anything special.
[00:52:48] Speaker C: Duke. I don't see it, but maybe it was a pro job.
I. I close it again. I do do, like, approve it, like close it. Open it, Close it, Open it.
[00:52:56] Speaker B: Yep. And the. The moaning start. Stops as you do that. Yeah.
[00:53:00] Speaker C: All right. Someone's. Someone's trying to keep the public out of here so they can hide something, close the door.
[00:53:07] Speaker A: Somebody's here. They know we're here.
[00:53:10] Speaker C: That's right.
You want to go hard through the house. You want to. Want to keep creeping along.
[00:53:16] Speaker A: You could see on. On the. On Duke's forehead. Just a bead of sweat start to drip down and down his temple. Is that hot in here?
[00:53:27] Speaker C: I don't know.357 comes up, Hammer goes back. Click, click, click, click. It's going to get hotter.
[00:53:38] Speaker B: So I'm.
[00:53:39] Speaker C: I also, I'm going to say, Duke, why don't you radio. Radio back to base, let them know that we've found some people here. We're investigating to see who it is.
[00:53:46] Speaker A: Do I have reception inside? Jason, with the radio, as you.
[00:53:49] Speaker B: As you go to turn it back on.
[00:53:51] Speaker C: It.
[00:53:51] Speaker B: It doesn't turn back on. Son of the batter. You think the battery's totally dead with it hit it. Yeah, you hit it. Nothing happens. You take battery out, put it back in. Yes, the battery's dead.
[00:54:01] Speaker A: Yeah, it's toast.
[00:54:04] Speaker C: All right, pocket it. Let's just do this.
I pull out.
[00:54:09] Speaker A: I pull out the uzi. I put my.357 in, pull it through.
[00:54:13] Speaker C: That's smart.
[00:54:13] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:54:14] Speaker C: Yeah. Do you want to check the other doors first before we go down that hallway just to see what's off of this kitchen?
[00:54:19] Speaker A: Let's just start kicking them in at this point.
[00:54:24] Speaker C: All right, let's do it.
[00:54:26] Speaker B: Okay. Are you. Just keep going the same direction.
[00:54:30] Speaker C: So, Sean, are you thinking we're going to the double doors now or you want to go down the hallway? What's that?
[00:54:35] Speaker A: First set of double doors on the left in the hallway.
[00:54:39] Speaker C: No, I mean the ones that are. Oh, we can do those two. Yeah, I meant, I meant should we open up all the doors in the kitchen first or are we going into the hall?
[00:54:51] Speaker A: I could go either way. Take the lead.
I got your back.
[00:54:55] Speaker C: Then I'm just going to go straight to the double doors in the south west of the kitchen and open those up.
[00:55:00] Speaker B: Okay.
[00:55:01] Speaker C: And we're moving. I think we're moving with more pace and guns. Are absolutely out.
[00:55:07] Speaker B: Gotcha. Okay. Give me a second.
[00:55:12] Speaker A: I feel like you kick open the door, I just spray in there for the hell of it.
[00:55:18] Speaker C: Good old 80s movie.
[00:55:19] Speaker B: Yeah. Oh, totally.
[00:55:20] Speaker C: Shoot about 80 rounds from your 32 round clip.
[00:55:30] Speaker B: Of course you have the. This is.
Just ignore the rooms that you haven't seen them.
[00:55:36] Speaker C: Don't sweat it, man. We can.
[00:55:38] Speaker B: So the. The very upper right corner is the double doors you kicked in.
[00:55:42] Speaker C: It's just like a big ballroom. It.
[00:55:44] Speaker B: It is actually. So I will. Let me.
So there.
[00:55:48] Speaker C: This.
[00:55:48] Speaker B: Actually, it wasn't a ballroom. This was a dining room.
[00:55:51] Speaker C: Big dining room. Okay.
[00:55:52] Speaker B: You see dust, you know, looks abandoned. There's a large crystal shank chandelier hanging from the middle of the ceiling.
Although also hanging from the chandelier, you see a man's body.
[00:56:07] Speaker C: Like a recently dead or like a desiccated corpse.
[00:56:11] Speaker B: It is. You see it hanging there.
It seems to be dressed in what appears to be late 19th century style clothing. They're.
You see. I assume you have your flashlight on your. Shine your flashlight in here because there's no external lights. Yes, I apologize, I should have asked.
[00:56:28] Speaker C: Flashlights.
[00:56:29] Speaker B: Yeah, because there's no extra. There's no windows in this room. So your. So is your. Your light goes across the room, it hits this. This body hanging from there in this late 19th century clothing. You see blood stains. As you go down you. You see that there's a. A large stain of blood on the floor underneath them.
[00:56:49] Speaker C: Check the corners with our flashlights.
So all four corners or all three corners because we're in one corner, right?
[00:56:55] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:56:56] Speaker C: If the room is clear, I'll approach the guy, come around in front of him to get a look at his face. And I mean, when you sit, describe blood if he's been dead since the 19th century.
[00:57:08] Speaker B: So yeah, as you get closer to him, you see it's actually a mannequin, not a. Not a person. As you get close, you can tell it's a mannequin. The time.
[00:57:17] Speaker C: Got it.
[00:57:18] Speaker B: There, there are. There are paths on the legs.
[00:57:23] Speaker A: We're in a carnival park haunted house.
[00:57:27] Speaker C: We're in a place where someone doesn't want people coming in is where we are.
All right, so the double doors to the north obviously open back into the hallway that we just saw. Right.
[00:57:43] Speaker B: Are you going to verify that?
I mean, you're not wrong. That's.
[00:57:47] Speaker C: I don't think we. I don't think we need to.
[00:57:49] Speaker B: Right. No, I mean this isn't the house in the Shining as far as you know.
[00:57:52] Speaker C: So, yeah, that's right where it goes in a different room.
What do you think, Duke? You said. I want me to take the lead. I'll take the lead. I go back into the kitchen. And we're going to do that. We're going to do that door due south of 13A. So the middle, middle south wall door.
[00:58:09] Speaker B: Yep.
[00:58:09] Speaker C: Open that one quickly.
[00:58:11] Speaker B: Okay, so I'm gonna read that because I can't really do a good picture of that without.
[00:58:16] Speaker C: That's fine.
[00:58:16] Speaker B: Showing the other rooms.
Whoops.
Okay, so that one is. This is another hallway.
The. With the door to the kitchen closed. You have to use your flashlight. It's dark.
But. But, but this is hallways. You flash the flashlight in there. It, you know, it opens up a little bit and it's. It's a hallway. There are two doors on the right hand side and one door on the left hand side of this hallway.
There's also directly inside here to the. To the left is you poke your head in or some. They're empty, but they're shell. There's some shelves there. Like this is used like as a pantry or something. Maybe on. Off. Off the hallway.
[00:58:58] Speaker C: Okay.
[00:58:58] Speaker B: But there's nothing on those shelves on those doors.
[00:59:01] Speaker C: Say that again. Are they east and west instead of left and right? Give me east and west.
[00:59:06] Speaker B: Okay, so.
So going with the way the map's orientated now.
[00:59:12] Speaker C: Yep.
[00:59:13] Speaker B: Right.
You have two doors on the west and one door on the east.
[00:59:18] Speaker C: Got it.
I think we go back to the door in the corner. It's the last door off the kitchen. Sean. Right, Duke. The one south of the. Of the fireplace.
[00:59:27] Speaker B: Yeah. Okay. The is that opens up. These are.
It opens up to a narrow five foot wide stairway that leads down. It's a. Goes down about 20ft and appears to be kind of a dirt floor there. It looks like it lightly down like a root cellar.
[00:59:47] Speaker C: Okay, I'm just going to close that door.
I think we should check here after we check upstairs.
Root cell or last.
What do you think?
[00:59:58] Speaker A: I nod.
[01:00:00] Speaker C: Okay.
Back to the big hallway. How about that?
So the one off the middle door in the west of 13A.
[01:00:10] Speaker B: Yep.
[01:00:11] Speaker C: And then go to the very first door on the north side that we come to. So the first door on our right as we're walking down that hallway.
[01:00:18] Speaker B: Right.
[01:00:19] Speaker C: Moving I would say quickly but quietly.
[01:00:23] Speaker B: Right.
So just so you can see a little better what you got as.
There. There are a couple other rooms you've. You haven't opened yet. So.
But yeah. So now you're in 11A is where you're going that Makes sense.
Foray is that big dining room and what's.
[01:00:51] Speaker C: What is.
[01:00:52] Speaker B: Yeah. So as you go. Yeah, as you go. It's an empty room, but there is a stain, an old stain in the northwest corner of this room.
[01:01:01] Speaker C: Briefly check it. Watch the floors. Hope it's not. I'm not tripping a wire or it's not weakened somehow.
[01:01:07] Speaker B: No, there it.
You're not sure what it's. It's pretty old. This might actually be a bloods. Like a blood. Blood stain. Like an old blood stain. It's. It's hard to tell.
[01:01:17] Speaker C: Okay, then I think we keep going to the room that's to the west of this. That next door.
[01:01:36] Speaker B: Okay. So that finishes.
That finishes out things on that side of the house.
Yeah, it did. Okay.
So.
Yeah. So this was. This appear. This apparently was a music room. There's sheet music scattered on the floor. In the center of the room is a grand piano, which doesn't look like that huge of a room. Well, I guess it is. It's 25, 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5, 20 by 50. So it is kind of big room.
In the center of the room is grand piano and there sheet music scattered on the floor. There is a large tarp on the floor next to the piano and everything is covered in dust.
[01:02:24] Speaker C: I don't see any need to investigate that, do you do.
No. Close that door.
Go to the door that's just across the way there to the, you know, kitty corner to the southwest. So.
[01:02:36] Speaker B: Okay. So.
[01:02:38] Speaker C: I mean.
[01:02:38] Speaker B: Yep, I do. So that one.
This room is empty except for chandelier hanging from the center of the ceiling. You see what appears to be a door opening into the dining room.
The big four A room.
[01:02:55] Speaker C: Yep.
[01:02:56] Speaker B: That is the only other door off this.
[01:02:59] Speaker C: Check the next one. The last. The last door in that long hallway that goes east, west.
[01:03:03] Speaker B: Okay. This room appears to have been a.
An art gallery. There are 10 dark spots on the wallpaper where paintings would have been hung. The room is now empty. There are no paintings in here. You can see like the discoloration, the wallpaper, where potentially they were. This room is.
[01:03:26] Speaker C: Used to be a g. It's.
[01:03:27] Speaker B: It's 20 by 40ft long. There are windows to the exterior, and there's one door at the far end.
[01:03:37] Speaker C: Oh, there is a door.
[01:03:38] Speaker B: There is one door. Yeah. On this. At the. The south end of this, right?
[01:03:44] Speaker C: Oh, probably there's a. Sorry, in the art gallery, is there a door that leads back into the ballroom or the dining room?
[01:03:54] Speaker B: No, the. In the. Oh, wait, no, the.
[01:03:57] Speaker C: No, cuz We're. We're. We're one over from that. Yeah.
[01:04:00] Speaker B: Y. Y.
I got you.
Yeah.
[01:04:05] Speaker C: Wanted to check that door.
[01:04:09] Speaker B: Yeah, The. The one to the south.
[01:04:12] Speaker C: Yeah, the one that's in.
[01:04:13] Speaker B: That.
[01:04:13] Speaker C: In the art gallery.
[01:04:14] Speaker B: The.
[01:04:14] Speaker C: There's a door. Check that door.
[01:04:19] Speaker B: Right. So. Whoops.
Open.
Yeah. So 9A is the art gallery. So does that make sense?
It will after I look.
[01:04:30] Speaker C: Yeah. And yeah, that door in the due south is where we're going.
[01:04:34] Speaker B: Yeah. So that is crap.
Need to print this off next time.
[01:04:40] Speaker C: 1.
[01:04:45] Speaker B: Okay. This room appears to be empty initially, but. And again, we're using. Oh, wait, there's a light. Oh, there is a window here. But if you look, you. You actually do see footprints. What appears to be a trail of dried blood that comes out of the middle of the southern wall.
[01:05:05] Speaker C: This is in the room that is. That we've just exposed.
[01:05:08] Speaker B: Yeah.
Marked 8A.
Is that the one I posted or did I not post that?
[01:05:16] Speaker C: I don't see 8A.
[01:05:17] Speaker B: Oh, there's one you just opened. I haven't put a picture of it yet. It's to the south of 9A. Yeah.
[01:05:23] Speaker C: Okay. It.
[01:05:24] Speaker B: Yeah, so. So. So it's a.
Go back up here. This is a 20 by.
Here.
We go. You're now on a day.
[01:06:00] Speaker C: And the tracks go. Go towards the door.
[01:06:04] Speaker B: So the tracks, they appear to come out. Well, we might be saying backwards to what's on the map. Let me look at the map here.
No, that's. Yeah. So it. So north is the top of the map.
[01:06:20] Speaker C: Yep.
[01:06:20] Speaker B: Okay. And you see footprints and trail, dry blood that appears to come out of the middle of the southern wall. It crosses the. They cross the room and disappear in the center of the north wall.
There's also a large blood stain at the base of the north wall where the tracks disappear.
[01:06:38] Speaker C: So the tracks go from one wall to the other, not to doors.
[01:06:41] Speaker B: Right.
[01:06:42] Speaker C: And if you look at 8A, the door. The door we just opened is in the middle of the wall.
[01:06:49] Speaker B: Yeah. So it's off to just one side of the door.
[01:06:52] Speaker C: Which side?
[01:06:54] Speaker B: The what? No, the east side.
So it'd be the side that goes to the dining room, but towards them.
[01:07:02] Speaker C: Yeah. They might go through some sort of passage or something into the dining room. I got you. Or the sort of into 6. Into 6A.
[01:07:10] Speaker B: 6A.
[01:07:10] Speaker C: Right.
[01:07:10] Speaker B: Yeah.
[01:07:14] Speaker C: I will tell Duke. You want to check that. Check this wall one right next to us. I'll check the wall across the way to see if there's any kind of, like, false panel or way through.
So there might be Two of these. Right. Right. Gives us the thumbs up.
[01:07:27] Speaker B: Okay, so you guys are looking for secret doors.
[01:07:30] Speaker C: Yep.
[01:07:31] Speaker B: Okay, get both of you give me rolls.
What are we rolling against?
Let's percentile. It's.
[01:07:42] Speaker C: I meant. I meant which stag. I'm sorry.
[01:07:44] Speaker B: Well, so secret doors. Sorry. Never mind. It is your deception or. No, it. It's deactivation. Yeah. For some re. They have deactivation for both finding.
Yeah, it's. It's deactivation y.
[01:08:02] Speaker C: It's failed significantly.
81 out of 45 minus whatever the.
[01:08:08] Speaker B: Yeah. You don't. You don't see anything.
[01:08:09] Speaker A: Sean, what do you have at a 61.
[01:08:13] Speaker B: Yep. Neither of you find. Find anything?
[01:08:20] Speaker C: Brush blood that's been.
[01:08:22] Speaker B: Ah. So let's see. Do you have agriculture or animal science?
[01:08:27] Speaker C: I don't.
[01:08:28] Speaker A: Botany.
[01:08:30] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah, botany would work.
Yeah. So. So as you. You look this. You have pretty high bot. I mean botanies.
It's a. It's sciency.
It.
It's fair. It's fairly fresh blood. Yeah.
And the. The footprints, you know, they appear to be boots, boot prints.
You're not sure. You can't really identify whether what kind of blood this is though.
But. But yeah, it appears to be pretty fresh blood.
[01:09:07] Speaker C: Will help us. How does it work in top secret? Do you. You know, when could we try again to detect these? If in other words, if I walked all the way around back into 6A and was at that part of the wall where you can.
[01:09:20] Speaker B: I mean, you can keep. Well, you could do that. Yeah. I mean, if you want to do.
[01:09:24] Speaker C: That to improve our chances. So in other words, Duke and I are on other sides of the wall or the door. There must be a door somewhere.
I don't want to spend too much. Too much time doing it, Sean. But what do you think?
[01:09:40] Speaker A: Where are we? Are we at 8A?
[01:09:43] Speaker C: We're in 8A. There's a door. There's a secret door sometime that passes through to 6A.
Right.
[01:09:50] Speaker B: Well, it appears that. It appears the.
That's where the. Yeah, the footprint stop Blood from the center of the southern wall up to it. It's kind of, you know, appears possibly into the corner of 6A is where it terminates in the north wall.
Or. Yeah.
[01:10:09] Speaker C: We can also just not worry about it. Presume we're just not finding it and we can keep moving.
[01:10:15] Speaker A: We keep. I say we keep moving.
[01:10:17] Speaker C: Okay, let's go to that in 8A. Let's go to that door that's in the east, which.
Right. We don't know where that one goes.
[01:10:24] Speaker B: Right. So that Appears so. You open that room up, it. It's empty, dusty. The. The wallpaper in here, though, has got children stuff on there. It's got, like, you know, like, balloons and animals and stuff. This might have been, like, a playroom or something. There's a door directly ahead of you that should go into that big dining room.
[01:10:45] Speaker C: Proceed through it to make sure it does.
[01:10:47] Speaker B: It does, yeah.
[01:10:49] Speaker C: Okay, Back to the dining room.
[01:10:51] Speaker B: Yeah. Now you're back in the dining room.
You've checked all the. Everything on that side of the house.
[01:10:58] Speaker C: Yep. And so in the dining room.
So in 4A, that's the dining room, right?
[01:11:05] Speaker B: Yep. Correct.
[01:11:06] Speaker A: Grand Bo.
[01:11:08] Speaker C: I think it's an actual dining room.
He said it before, but there is a. That's where the guy's hanging from the chandelier, right? Right. Correct.
[01:11:14] Speaker B: Correct. Yeah.
[01:11:14] Speaker C: So, Duke, there are two double doors in the southwest and southeast corners of that room. I think we should check those.
[01:11:20] Speaker A: Yeah, if we're going.
Yes.
So we. We're doubling back all the way to 4A.
[01:11:27] Speaker C: Yeah, but we can get there pretty quickly.
[01:11:29] Speaker B: Yeah, you don't have to double back. It goes through, right? Yeah, it goes through.
[01:11:34] Speaker A: You go through 8A, go to the eastern door, Go through the.
[01:11:38] Speaker C: Exactly. You don't even have to double back. We're just. We're there.
[01:11:41] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah, you're already there.
[01:11:43] Speaker A: It's first double doors on the right.
[01:11:45] Speaker C: On the right. Okay.
[01:11:48] Speaker B: There you go.
[01:11:49] Speaker C: So you mean the ones in the southwest.
[01:11:51] Speaker B: 7A is the room with the kids wallpaper.
[01:11:54] Speaker C: Got it.
[01:11:55] Speaker B: That's one you just went into, Duke, you mean the.
[01:11:58] Speaker C: The double doors in the southwest.
[01:12:00] Speaker B: Correct.
[01:12:00] Speaker A: Correct.
[01:12:01] Speaker C: Got it.
[01:12:02] Speaker B: Okay, so you can do that. Hugh's going through there first.
[01:12:07] Speaker C: We'll do the COVID thing. Since these are big doors. I'll open them while Uzi boy covers.
[01:12:13] Speaker B: Okay.
As you. As you go into here, this appears to be the main entrance.
So I'm house.
[01:12:23] Speaker A: Right. That warrior or whatever.
[01:12:25] Speaker B: Right.
[01:12:27] Speaker C: Actually, probably bigger than the foyer.
Actual entrance, probably a grand stair staircase. Blah, blah, blah.
[01:12:34] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah. I'll get you a picture.
[01:12:36] Speaker C: In fact, I can pick. I can see the hatches of a staircase on the picture he posted in between the two sets of double doors. I can picture it.
[01:12:45] Speaker B: Since Sean's doing his hasting skills, I'll give him something to work with.
[01:12:52] Speaker A: It's like.
It's like a serial killer map together.
Pasting it together.
[01:12:58] Speaker B: Okay, so you just entered into 1A. You came. The one. You came in here at the base of the stairwell there. Right.
So this appears to be the main Entryway you can see the, the double doors, exterior doors, the front doors. Right the back of them.
The walls extend up two stories up to the ceiling. You can see the stairs, they extend 30ft up to the second floor landing.
And then you can see the other double sets of oak indoors.
Every. There is dust around everywhere. You don't see any footprints. The dust seems to be undisturbed.
[01:13:36] Speaker C: Okay, so those, see those. I'm just going to gesture and say, see those double doors right there? These are the ones that are like right in front of us on our right in the west side. Those should, those should go into a room where the footprints came from.
From 8A right, Jason?
[01:13:50] Speaker B: That is correct.
[01:13:51] Speaker C: Okay, so I'm going to do the, you know, stealthy open of those doors, if you're okay with that.
[01:13:56] Speaker B: Okay. You open up that, that as you look into that room. It's a 30 foot wide by 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 50 foot long room.
And it. You don't see any other doors in that room. There are windows that go the outside, yet everything is dust covered. The wallpaper near the west wall appears to be wet and water stained.
[01:14:25] Speaker C: So there's no footprints in the dust here.
[01:14:27] Speaker B: But you do not see any footprints in the dust in this room.
[01:14:32] Speaker C: I don't understand that.
And no other way out?
[01:14:38] Speaker B: No. No other exit.
[01:14:40] Speaker C: With my, with my architecture sense 92, I don't feel, I don't feel like there's a passage in between two rooms that were missing.
There's not.
[01:14:49] Speaker B: Doesn't appear to be space there. No.
[01:14:51] Speaker C: Yeah, yeah, yeah. You know what I mean? Like.
[01:14:54] Speaker B: Yeah, it doesn't feel like there's like a hollow between the walls or anything? No, it looks.
Yeah.
Okay.
[01:15:04] Speaker C: Should we check the southwest southeast corner of the house and finish that up before we go upstairs? You want to go upstairs now, Duke?
[01:15:12] Speaker A: Let's go upstairs.
I don't think there's anything down here. Otherwise I would hope we've. Well, I mean, it's a big house. I guess somebody could be pretty quiet. But I'm guessing that we haven't heard.
[01:15:22] Speaker C: A sound, right, in terms of foot, footfalls or anything like that.
[01:15:25] Speaker B: No, you have not.
[01:15:26] Speaker C: Okay, up the stairs.
[01:15:28] Speaker B: Okay, you're just gonna bound up the stairs. Who's going up?
[01:15:33] Speaker C: Duke.
[01:15:34] Speaker B: Duke.
[01:15:35] Speaker A: They have the high ground.
[01:15:38] Speaker B: Okay, so Duke, you have an Uzi?
[01:15:41] Speaker A: I do have an Uzi, yeah.
[01:15:43] Speaker B: He, he does have an Uzi. Let's see.
Okay, so Duke, as you, you just set your foot on the, the second stair there. These stairs all do appear to be Pretty solid, right?
Appear.
[01:16:01] Speaker C: Appear to be.
[01:16:02] Speaker B: Yeah, appear to be.
Okay, why is. Oh, I. I know why that. That is place. Okay, I'm in the right place.
So.
So these are carpeted stairs. There's a handrail that goes up the side view, which you're not using because you have your hands on. You're using, but there's a handrail that goes up and like. Say you see the second floor balcony with a railing in front of you, above you.
[01:16:35] Speaker C: Right.
[01:16:36] Speaker B: So these stairs are solid. When you step on that second stair, though, you can feel a slight pressure pad depress under your foot.
And at that point the.
[01:16:48] Speaker C: You're both killed in a massive explosion. That's right.
[01:16:51] Speaker B: The game is over.
That is not true.
But you see at the top of the stairs.
Show you what you see.
Okay, so sorry, the problem with working off a laptop here.
So the. The figure of a woman enclosed from 1930s appears in a ghostly form on the landing. She screams, they're all dead. Soon I shall be. I shall not rest till all who enter my house are dead.
And you see that at the top stairs and she. And she starts waving her knife wildly and then she disappears.
I.
[01:17:38] Speaker A: Disbelief.
[01:17:39] Speaker B: Yeah, roll for disbelief. No, I'm kidding.
[01:17:42] Speaker C: I think. I think we're pretty.
That was such a thing in my ad days. Such a thing.
Disbelief.
[01:17:49] Speaker B: Yes.
[01:17:51] Speaker C: I'll start. You know, we should. I guess maybe we'll check the stairs to see if there are more.
More trip wires that are a little. A little more dangerous than this.
[01:18:00] Speaker B: Okay. Okay. You slowly check each stair as you go up the. The pressure pad there on that second stair appears to be the only thing.
[01:18:08] Speaker C: Okay.
[01:18:09] Speaker B: You don't notice any other issues?
[01:18:10] Speaker C: Is there some sort of lens or like projector off to the side or in the ceiling that projected.
[01:18:17] Speaker B: Well, so as you get to the top of the stairs, what you see is a.
It's a.
Not a mirror, but like a. Like a glass, you know, like. Like a. Like a teleprompter screen. Does that make Sense?
It's about 10 by 10 by 10 key cube of clear gas. Expensive at the top of the. At the top of the stairs. In fact, if you want to get on the landing, you're gonna have to either break it, get through it, or climb over the railing ups the way.
[01:18:54] Speaker C: Yeah, the railing sound taking the machine.
[01:18:57] Speaker B: It appears to be. It appears to be.
[01:18:59] Speaker C: Just.
[01:18:59] Speaker B: Just climb over.
[01:19:00] Speaker C: Climb over the railing.
[01:19:02] Speaker B: Yeah. You can do that? Yeah, that's not a problem at all. So let me show you. You.
Well, I. I mean, so the. The Top floor up here where you're at, it's the same.
Basically.
[01:19:14] Speaker C: The.
[01:19:14] Speaker B: The only thing. The door you can't. You entered this room. The only door in this room, once you get to the top of the stairs is the. The door you entered this room from. So in the western corner, northwestern corner. That's.
[01:19:27] Speaker C: Yes.
[01:19:27] Speaker B: There's an opening that opens into a. What maybe is a hallway directly above that. Yeah, the. But that's. That's the only opening on this balcony. This. This is all big balcony.
[01:19:38] Speaker C: Oh, there's only one way. It's a big balcony that. Yeah.
[01:19:41] Speaker B: There's only one way off the entrance balcony. Yeah. And it's. It's the same direction as that. It's right above the door you entered this room from. Does that.
[01:19:48] Speaker C: Which would be. Would. Yep. Which would lead us back to an area above the dining room, Right?
[01:19:52] Speaker B: Correct. Yeah.
[01:19:53] Speaker C: Let's. Let's go right in there.
Flashlights out. I think we're moving with pace, but carefully.
[01:19:59] Speaker B: Okay.
[01:19:59] Speaker C: So.
[01:20:01] Speaker A: Yes.
[01:20:02] Speaker B: So you can. Are you going left or right?
[01:20:06] Speaker C: Is it not just a bit? Like what's it. What's through it?
[01:20:08] Speaker B: Okay.
[01:20:08] Speaker C: I mean, we're going to that door.
[01:20:09] Speaker B: So you. So. So as you. As you go through that.
[01:20:12] Speaker C: Open.
[01:20:12] Speaker B: So it's actually just open. There's not a door there. As you go through that. It opens into a hallway. It. It jogs a little bit to the left and then goes north and to the right. It goes like 70ft to the right and then it goes north.
So directly ahead of you is a wall. And you can either go left or.
[01:20:31] Speaker C: Go left or right, but both. Those will eventually both turn north and go towards the back of the house.
[01:20:36] Speaker B: Correct.
[01:20:37] Speaker C: I just could turn left and let's stay to the outside.
[01:20:41] Speaker B: Okay. So there is a room directly to your left, directly to the south. So.
[01:20:50] Speaker C: Check it.
[01:20:54] Speaker A: Yes.
[01:20:55] Speaker B: Okay.
Yeah. So I'm not even going to give you a picture because you're checking it. So this room.
So when you open the door for this room, you hear the moaning again and. And again. It's.
It's the same moan when. If you shut the door, the moon stops. The room is empty and dusty.
[01:21:18] Speaker C: And it's. The moan comes from somewhere in the house.
[01:21:20] Speaker B: Yeah. So, yeah. You can't see speakers or anything, but you're pretty much.
[01:21:25] Speaker C: Yeah.
And the room is otherwise. Yeah.
[01:21:29] Speaker B: There are no other. There are no other exits there. There's.
[01:21:31] Speaker C: I wonder why they're trying to keep people out of here.
I'll do a cursory search of that room to make sure like the floorboards are and the wallpaper and to see if it's trying to hide something in there.
[01:21:44] Speaker B: Yeah. You search the room, you don't see anything out of at a place in here.
[01:21:51] Speaker C: Okay.
[01:21:52] Speaker B: Yeah.
[01:21:53] Speaker C: So then back into the hallway that goes north.
[01:21:56] Speaker B: Okay.
Sorry. I'm just checking one thing. Got it.
[01:22:01] Speaker C: Okay.
[01:22:03] Speaker B: Yes. So the hallway goes north.
You're going to. As you go up north, there's a. A door obviously hopefully linked to rooms, but there's a door to the, to the left and right on the east and west wall. They're doors.
And then once you check them, I'll be able to cut you a better, bigger picture than that.
[01:22:21] Speaker C: I think we check them first. Left first, then right.
[01:22:24] Speaker B: Okay, so. So you're checking the.
The western.
[01:22:28] Speaker C: Western first, then eastern.
[01:22:29] Speaker B: Yeah. Towards the outside of the house first. Okay.
[01:22:31] Speaker C: Yep.
[01:22:32] Speaker B: Okay, got it. So this.
Sorry. Okay.
This.
Actually there. There's something in this room. Believe it or not, this appears to been a trophy room. The walls are decorated with the mounted heads of big game animals as well as framed pictures from hunters in 19th century garb. The stuffed heads look to be moth eaten and are covered in dust.
[01:22:56] Speaker C: Dust on the floor. No footprints.
[01:22:58] Speaker B: Yep, that's on the floor. No footprints. There's a door to. On the north wall. This. This is a pretty large room actually.
But you don't see any people in here. But it's. It's. Yeah, there's a. A door to the north on this one. Maybe there.
[01:23:14] Speaker A: Maybe there's nobody here. Maybe we're overthinking this.
[01:23:19] Speaker C: Well, sure.
[01:23:23] Speaker B: We still have to check the.
[01:23:25] Speaker C: Yeah. You think we should just. What, leave?
[01:23:28] Speaker A: No, but we can.
No, we can keep going.
[01:23:34] Speaker C: Do you want to split up?
[01:23:37] Speaker B: Maybe cover a lot more ground? Split up?
[01:23:42] Speaker A: I mean, I'm thinking like of a. If it was like a TV show after like the first seven rooms that are like nothing, I wonder if we would just be. All right, I'm going to go upstairs. You go downstairs. Let me know if you find anything. Type of approach. Now that we're both upstairs, we can just divide and conquer.
[01:24:01] Speaker C: Or we can, since none of the things that have been trip wires and whatnot have been dangerous.
[01:24:05] Speaker B: Right.
[01:24:06] Speaker C: We can just go fast, like go to that door. The door that's in the room here. Just go up, go up to it, kick it open, look in there. You know if there's anything in the room. We'll keep. We'll go in. There's not. We go double back. Right, sure.
[01:24:16] Speaker A: It's a TSR module that will obviously Facilitate that all the way through.
[01:24:21] Speaker C: I'm sure it is. So let's do it.
[01:24:23] Speaker B: Okay.
[01:24:24] Speaker C: Frustrated, we walk to that door and kick it open.
[01:24:26] Speaker B: Okay. Bam. It opens into hallway to the north directly in front of you. Directly across hallway is a door.
And then the hallway goes to what?
[01:24:36] Speaker C: Open.
[01:24:37] Speaker B: Okay. So as you kick the. The door directly in front of you open.
That is appears to have been a bedroom. All the furnishings are covered in dust.
[01:24:48] Speaker C: Keep moving.
[01:24:49] Speaker B: Okay. Keep moving.
Let me give you a better picture here.
[01:24:54] Speaker C: There was.
Basically. We're moving with speed now, Right?
[01:25:00] Speaker B: Gotcha.
I didn't give you a picture of the.
The upstairs where the stairs are, but this is.
So the 4B was the trophy room.
5B is the room you're in right now. Yeah, that's the hallway that was to the left when you came up to the top.
[01:25:26] Speaker C: 3B is the room with the moaning again, correct?
[01:25:29] Speaker B: Yep, yep. Okay. Just.
[01:25:31] Speaker C: Just see those, see those doors in the. On the east of the graphic it is. Is posted.
[01:25:35] Speaker B: Yep.
[01:25:36] Speaker C: Top to bop, top to bottom. Kick them open. One, two, three. Bang, bang, bang.
[01:25:40] Speaker B: Makes sense.
As you kick this in, the moaning starts again.
Actually, the moaning seems louder in this room a little bit.
[01:25:53] Speaker C: What's in the room?
[01:25:54] Speaker A: Okay.
[01:25:55] Speaker B: The room is empty. But as you take a minute and look in here, actually the sound of the moaning seems to be coming. Coming from the south wall.
[01:26:06] Speaker C: Yeah, I don't care about that.
[01:26:08] Speaker A: I think it's all.
[01:26:09] Speaker C: Yeah.
Okay. Go to the next door.
[01:26:11] Speaker B: Okay. The next one under it. Okay. So this is a 10 by 10 closet. The moaning is very loud in here, so. Oh, I shouldn't have put that. So the mo. As you come to the store, the moaning is very loud in here, but you're. You're doing the kick in the door thing.
[01:26:28] Speaker C: Yep.
[01:26:29] Speaker B: Okay. Who's kicking the door in?
[01:26:30] Speaker C: I'll do it.
[01:26:31] Speaker B: Okay, so $100 question. Yeah, well, I mean, so okay, Thomas here. Now we're going to. It's actually a specter who's been trapped here.
[01:26:41] Speaker A: Yes.
[01:26:43] Speaker C: This is not a phonograph.
[01:26:45] Speaker B: No, you just tripped off a deadly trap.
So we're going to. Now, it's not quite fire combat because it's a trap, but I'm gonna roll, actually. Sean, roll and tell me what you get. Roll percentile dice. Tell me what you get.
[01:27:08] Speaker A: 21.
[01:27:11] Speaker B: Well, so Thomas just takes a 10 gauge shotgun blast, takes the door ends.
[01:27:21] Speaker A: Got a sound effect for that too.
[01:27:25] Speaker C: 10 gauge, not a 12 gauge.
[01:27:28] Speaker B: Yeah. Let's see what we get here.
Of course, now we have to.
Okay, so let's roll to see Thomas. Roll me percentile dice. Let's see where it hits you.
15.
[01:27:47] Speaker C: I'm sure that's good.
[01:27:49] Speaker B: Actually, it's your right arm. It's. It could be worse.
[01:27:53] Speaker A: Depends.
Are you Harrigan?
[01:27:57] Speaker C: I'm right handed.
[01:27:58] Speaker B: Yeah. So Sean.
[01:28:01] Speaker C: Because I'm right handed.
[01:28:04] Speaker B: Okay, Sean, roll me percentile dice, but read them to me as two D10s. So roll two dice and then just read me the two results.
[01:28:13] Speaker A: Three and a nine.
[01:28:19] Speaker B: Holy moly. So this is a. A light wound, but you.
You actually take a lot of damage.
Hold on, let's see how much damage you take.
So three and nine.
[01:28:40] Speaker C: I have life level 16. Surely I'm fine, but incision.
[01:28:45] Speaker A: Is that what you're looking at, Jason?
[01:28:47] Speaker B: Yeah. Well, so it's. Yeah. So the three was light wound and nine is a fracture.
[01:28:54] Speaker A: Oh, I gotcha.
[01:28:55] Speaker B: Yeah. So it's actually, it's nine points plus.
So it's nine points of damage that.
[01:29:03] Speaker C: Goes to my life level, which drops to seven. Is that right? Yeah.
[01:29:06] Speaker B: Correct. Yeah.
[01:29:07] Speaker C: Okay.
[01:29:08] Speaker B: Yeah.
And then so. So you take this blaster to your arm and you see as the door swings.
Swings open is the smoke kind of clears. Is a 10 by 10 closet. There's loud moaning coming from in here.
There is a shotgun bolted to a table in. In the closet.
And you know, obviously, like, smoke's coming in.
[01:29:40] Speaker C: It went off when I kicked the door.
[01:29:41] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah, yeah. It was rigged. Yeah.
[01:29:46] Speaker A: So I, I obviously. Holy.
[01:29:47] Speaker C: I. I collapse and fall back against.
[01:29:49] Speaker B: The fire wall, bleeding.
Holy.
Oh.
[01:29:57] Speaker A: I probably would shoot into the closet with the Uzi.
[01:30:02] Speaker B: Yeah.
[01:30:02] Speaker A: Oh, yeah.
[01:30:03] Speaker B: Y. How many shots do you want to put into the closet?
[01:30:05] Speaker A: Just one quick burst. Like. Okay. Like, hold on to that sucker. If I had a choice, but.
[01:30:10] Speaker B: Right. Okay, you can, you can do that.
Mark. Mark. Five rounds off. So there's 20 rounds left in that magazine.
And it, you know, you kind of pepper holes in the closet. There's. There's nothing in there. Sure. Yeah.
[01:30:22] Speaker A: And then I, I can't. I go to Thomas and like, make sure he's all right. Like. Oh my God. Are you okay? Yeah.
[01:30:29] Speaker B: He's got his heart. It hit him in the arm. It didn't hit him like if him in the chest of the mad, but it like him. His arm. So I mean, it hurt. Obviously broke my arm.
Well, and. And what handed are you?
[01:30:41] Speaker C: I'm right handed.
[01:30:43] Speaker B: So that's your main arm. So if you have to shoot, that's. That'll affect you if you get into. Into a gunfight.
[01:30:48] Speaker C: Okay. Yeah.
[01:30:51] Speaker B: Yeah. Because that's more than half your hit point or.
Yeah, that's.
[01:30:55] Speaker C: So I think I take a minute to bandage it as best I can do that.
[01:30:59] Speaker B: Yeah, you can stop the bleeding.
Yeah. Because what was your life level?
[01:31:04] Speaker C: 16 down to 7.
[01:31:05] Speaker B: Yeah. So that's over half. So that. That'll affect you if you get in fight. Yeah.
Great.
[01:31:10] Speaker A: I think. I think I got them.
Ah. You okay?
[01:31:15] Speaker B: There is a. There's a door.
There is a door. You peppered. You pepper the closet. You don't see bang in there. There's a door.
[01:31:23] Speaker A: On the other side.
[01:31:24] Speaker B: Yeah.
[01:31:25] Speaker C: Maybe shoot first.
[01:31:26] Speaker B: Yeah, well, he did. He already. There are holes in the door where he.
[01:31:28] Speaker C: Oh, fair enough. Now the president on the other side is dead. Probably from your Uzi.
Yep. Yeah.
[01:31:37] Speaker A: Covered up.
[01:31:40] Speaker B: Are you gonna shut this door? You gonna open that door or you open that?
[01:31:42] Speaker A: Well, is. Is he okay? Is Thomas like in a condition of. Yeah.
[01:31:48] Speaker B: Yeah. He. He's. He's mobile. He's.
He's walking window.
[01:31:54] Speaker C: I'll tell you what I could picture. We'd have to play this, you know, in any length, but I can picture Thomas laying there and Duke going back. Like, where was the like piano or whatever with the drapery?
Like, get the sheets, tear them up, bandage my arm, and then. Then I'm back in action.
[01:32:09] Speaker B: Right, right.
[01:32:10] Speaker C: But you going first, Duke, like, she.
[01:32:15] Speaker A: Like wrapped up in like a one to one and a half foot wide. Yeah, he's got this big.
[01:32:21] Speaker C: Yep.
[01:32:21] Speaker B: Yeah, it looks like swimming. Looks like swimming muscles, you know, blow up muscles on a certain big puff on his arm.
[01:32:28] Speaker A: It's just your arm. Okay. Then I. I tear.
[01:32:30] Speaker C: Just my arm. Just my arm.
[01:32:31] Speaker A: Thought you might have got hit right in the chest. Holy balls.
[01:32:34] Speaker C: Well, it was, it was it buckshot? Like, what was it a slug? What was it?
[01:32:37] Speaker B: So I, I didn't figure it matters in this game. Well, if we're going to do the extra damage. It does. Yeah, we can do that.
I. I didn't figure the extra damage for it. It was.
Yeah, it was.
It was number four bird shot. Is. I was gonna say number four. Number six bird shot.
[01:32:56] Speaker C: Okay.
[01:32:56] Speaker A: But it.
[01:32:57] Speaker C: All right, so I probably did get hit in the chest as well, but it's. These are pellets and they're pretty small.
[01:33:01] Speaker B: Yeah, but you're. Yeah, you're. Yeah, you're still out. You're still moving. So.
[01:33:06] Speaker C: Okay, I'll take the lead.
[01:33:07] Speaker A: So I go to the. I'm going to clear this. Clear the store quick.
[01:33:10] Speaker B: Okay. So you open that, there's a really Tiny back, another little closet. There's a loudspeaker in here with a black box attached to it with the mounting.
[01:33:24] Speaker A: I shut that off. If it's.
[01:33:25] Speaker B: Yeah, you can, you can disconnect it pretty easily.
[01:33:27] Speaker A: Unplug it.
[01:33:28] Speaker B: Yeah.
[01:33:29] Speaker C: With, with the Uzi.
That's how you should turn it off.
[01:33:32] Speaker A: I take on my 357.
[01:33:39] Speaker B: Okay, so. So you've now turn that off. So now you've disabled that. Yes, yes. So are you going to keep going upstairs or what? Do you want to.
[01:33:50] Speaker A: Yeah, we go back out.
[01:33:52] Speaker C: There's been a bunch of gunfire. Now anybody here knows that. Yeah.
[01:33:56] Speaker B: Knows you're there? Yeah, yeah.
[01:33:58] Speaker A: As we like, even to the next door down the hallway. You know, if you're in here, come out official federal agents.
[01:34:06] Speaker B: Okay.
Are you kicking this one out?
[01:34:09] Speaker A: Oh, yeah.
[01:34:10] Speaker B: Okay.
[01:34:10] Speaker C: From the side.
[01:34:13] Speaker B: Down. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
So they're, they're. So as you come up to this, there are blood, old blood stains on the door frame doorknob of this room. You kick it in.
There's blood stains in this room throughout. They look very old. There's broken, like personal effects scattered around the. But there's nobody in here.
Just trash in here, basically. But there is what appears to be.
[01:34:41] Speaker C: Old blood stains, old bloodstains.
[01:34:42] Speaker B: And there's no other door doors in this. In this room.
[01:34:45] Speaker C: And that was the third door in the southeast of that hallway.
[01:34:49] Speaker B: Correct. So you have cleared.
[01:34:52] Speaker C: You have to go back to that other hall and go north. Right.
[01:34:55] Speaker B: Right. So I'll show you what you cleared.
Maybe if I can find Discord again.
[01:35:07] Speaker C: You do that. I'm taking a short bio break. I'll be right, right back.
[01:35:10] Speaker B: Yeah, well, why don't we all do that? So let's take a five minute break.
[01:35:13] Speaker C: Okay.
[01:35:13] Speaker B: And we'll come back.
So, so this is a good time to ask what, what's our hired stop time?
[01:35:20] Speaker A: 11:30, my time. So.
[01:35:23] Speaker C: Hour.
[01:35:24] Speaker B: An hour. Okay, so that works.
[01:35:26] Speaker C: It works for me.
[01:35:27] Speaker B: Let's do this. We're going to say that you, you. You continue to check the upstairs. Okay. You, You. You don't find any people upstairs. You go through all the rooms. You, you do find some.
If you do a thorough search, we'll say you did. You. You're going to. You found old. A bunch of other like old clothes and things like that. You, You f. Found a modern fresh 9 millimeter case up here. There's a, a knife up here that's usable like a, a kitchen knife. There's some Canadian money, some Canadian coins up here.
But you don't find any. Any people or any.
[01:36:09] Speaker C: It was the Canadians who captured the president.
[01:36:13] Speaker A: Different time.
[01:36:14] Speaker B: There's Canadian money up there. But. But let's say you. You've. You. You've cleared that. And.
And so the upstairs is clear.
So then you can decide where you want to go on the downs, where you want to go from there.
[01:36:31] Speaker C: There's the. So, Sean, there's the other part of the house. Did we clear the whole house or just the upstairs?
[01:36:38] Speaker B: You have not cleared the first floor, southwestern corner. And you didn't go in the root cellar and you didn't clear. And you still have the. The south eastern corner of the house.
[01:36:50] Speaker C: You have not checked on the first floor. So. Southeastern corner, corner of the first floor, the root cellar, the. Well, we haven't looked at.
[01:36:57] Speaker B: Right, right.
[01:36:58] Speaker C: And what was the other one?
[01:37:00] Speaker B: No, that's it, really.
[01:37:01] Speaker C: Okay.
[01:37:02] Speaker A: My guess is that there's stairs that go into the root cellar somewhere.
[01:37:07] Speaker C: Well, we found them. Let's go to the root. We found them from the kitchen. So let's go down to the kitchen and take those stairs.
[01:37:12] Speaker B: Okay. So you.
[01:37:13] Speaker C: You okay with that, Sean?
[01:37:15] Speaker B: I mean, we can. We. We can zip through.
So with the rest of the house, I can tell you really quickly that there is.
If you check the rest of part of the house. The southeastern part of the house.
[01:37:33] Speaker C: The ground floor?
[01:37:34] Speaker B: Yeah, the southeastern room. There appears to be a. Maybe a parlor sitting room.
There's a fireplace in that room. The fireplace is empty.
You can hear a humming noise coming from the floor in here. Does. Do either you have electrical engineering?
[01:37:55] Speaker C: No.
[01:37:59] Speaker B: Engineer. Civil construction engineer. You get pretty high there, Thomas. It sounds like maybe a generator coming from.
[01:38:06] Speaker C: Yeah, it should make sense. You know, when we found the speaker, was that like, plugged into the wall?
How was that powered? When we found the speaker, how was that powered?
[01:38:15] Speaker B: There was. There was a wire. It was connected at a. Okay, yeah, it had a wire.
[01:38:20] Speaker C: And I think you were indicating before the house used to be like gas lamp lit. Right. There's not.
[01:38:24] Speaker B: Right. Yeah.
[01:38:24] Speaker C: And there's not electrical lines.
[01:38:26] Speaker B: There's no electricity. Yeah. There's the house itself. There was obviously electricity going to speak.
[01:38:31] Speaker C: So the generator is coming from the basement. Let's go down the root cellar.
[01:38:36] Speaker B: The other thing you find there was a.
A glass pot or not. Not a glass. A.
A jug. A ceramic jug in. In the other room that you didn't check on the bottom shelf. A ceramic jug. Yeah.
[01:38:54] Speaker C: Sounds like we should check it.
[01:38:56] Speaker B: That's up to you. You don't have to. Duke, I want to make sure I mention everything. Give.
[01:39:04] Speaker C: When we came back from a commercial break, by the way, I now have, like, a proper sling at my arm.
[01:39:08] Speaker B: Okay, Sounds good.
[01:39:09] Speaker C: Yeah.
[01:39:13] Speaker B: So. So, Duke, if. If you were. Roll me percentile.
Roll.
[01:39:19] Speaker C: Be careful, Duke.
[01:39:21] Speaker A: 48.
[01:39:21] Speaker B: It's filled with plastique. So. So you're. You're not sure with it. With this jug. It does. The room is dusty, but you can. Like the dust isn't perfectly around the jug. So you can see this jug kind of has been possibly set there, like, without dust. So.
Yeah. You're wary of it.
It's up to you if you want to.
You've got a gut feeling that maybe you don't want to touch it.
[01:39:55] Speaker C: I have arts and crafts crafts.
[01:39:57] Speaker B: Me too.
[01:39:59] Speaker A: Arts and crafts.
[01:40:01] Speaker C: 76. Whoa.
[01:40:02] Speaker A: You're definitely more arts and crafts than.
[01:40:05] Speaker C: I. Yeah, this is.
[01:40:06] Speaker B: This is definitely. Appears to be a. A ceramic jug of the.
From the 19th century Main culture that. Yeah, it's.
I mean, it fits the house time period and all.
[01:40:20] Speaker C: That means it's. It's. It's white and it has a blue transfer print is what that means.
[01:40:24] Speaker B: There we go.
[01:40:25] Speaker C: Yeah.
Expo Faux Chinese.
[01:40:29] Speaker A: Yeah.
[01:40:29] Speaker C: It's not hand painted. Yeah, but however, you. You just said that. That Duke has a. A hinky feeling he shouldn't touch it. So let's just not touch it.
[01:40:36] Speaker A: It's not in a.
[01:40:37] Speaker B: Okay. Okay. So you. You so track back through the kitchen. Yep. To the. To the stairwell down to the root cellar. And I'm not trying to steal anybody's agency here.
[01:40:49] Speaker C: No, that's what we. That's where we're going.
[01:40:51] Speaker B: Okay.
[01:40:51] Speaker C: And you can picture Jason carefully, quietly listening, like, this may be.
This may be where shit's going on is in the basement. Yeah.
[01:40:59] Speaker B: Yeah, That's. That's the thought. Right.
So.
Yeah. So we. As you go down there, this room, you. You go in. At our room. And let me tell you.
Show me the picture. Okay, so.
So. So as you go in here, these stairs lead down into this root cellar.
And the.
You also see a door.
Double door. Double doors that appear to be where you can get into the cellar from upstairs, from outside.
Because you saw those double doors, the root cellar, outside, right.
You. You see where that appears to be?
Is that gonna work?
Add to photos.
[01:41:51] Speaker C: I'm picturing those double doors. Like storm doors that opened out.
[01:41:54] Speaker B: Yeah, they are. It doesn't. It doesn't show double doors on here, but that's what that door is that. That opens up to the outside.
[01:42:00] Speaker C: Got it.
[01:42:01] Speaker B: Okay. So that is. Okay. So the, you, you see those two entrances?
Right. There is a thick, five inch thick wood beam blocking those doors from the inside. The double doors, like if you tried to open them from the outside, they would have, you know, they're barred from under here.
Does that make sense? Yep.
Okay.
[01:42:27] Speaker A: Yeah.
[01:42:28] Speaker B: And that, that's what you see in here. What? You don't see any interior doors?
[01:42:36] Speaker C: It's just the root cellar.
[01:42:38] Speaker B: Yeah. That's all you see. It appears empty.
[01:42:40] Speaker A: Search for secret doors.
[01:42:43] Speaker B: Okay.
[01:42:44] Speaker C: And listen for the vibration of the generator. And like.
[01:42:46] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah. So, and, and speaking of that, with your sense of everything, right, that generator. Yeah. There, there should be an entrance here because that generator should be right under that other floor.
Right where we.
[01:43:01] Speaker C: By the fireplace in the southeast part of the building.
[01:43:04] Speaker B: Yeah, correct. The, the generator should be.
[01:43:09] Speaker C: With the ceramic phase, it was going to do a million damage if it exploded.
[01:43:18] Speaker B: So, so you're gonna, so you're seeking, searching for secret doors and with the knowledge that, hey, there's got to be something down here. So let's go ahead and roll and see what. Let me know what you guys get as you do your search.
And. Okay.
49, I have a deactivation of 45.
[01:43:39] Speaker A: 78.
[01:43:42] Speaker B: Okay, you're, you're, you're looking, you're, you're not, you're sure there's something here.
And it takes you longer than you would expect, but finally you listen for the generator and, and, and where, you know, it would have to be and everything else. You, you, you finally find a secret door. On. It's directly across from the root cellar doors. Directly across from those double doors that go down the root cellar.
So it's right above the, in that square that says 1C.
It's you know, northwest of that, in that the north. Does that make sense? It's directly. Yeah. Yeah. Okay. So you, you, you, you finally find that and the door. You, you, you get it? It looks exactly like the rest of the wall. It took you a while to find that door. But when the door open, when you do find it, you open it. It opens to a downward sloping, 25 foot long corridor running west.
On the north court of the corridor, propped on its side on the north wall of the Corridor is a 15 foot loading ramp.
The surface of the ramp is made of rollers, allowing easier movement of goods along its surface. The corridor is dark, but there's a light at the end of it.
And I will give you an idea what we're talking about.
So ignore the fact that there's a number on Here should mean nothing to you.
But just instead of drawing, I think.
[01:45:23] Speaker C: Special Agent Ellis knew what he was doing.
[01:45:25] Speaker B: Why don't you two go up and.
[01:45:26] Speaker C: Check out that house on the hill. Take you all day.
[01:45:30] Speaker B: So the little s. Secret door symbols, the door that you opened. Yep. Right.
It's showing stairs that go down to the root cellar door. But that's the root cellar door door there on the. On the right hand side of the image. Okay, the 2C thing, just ignore that.
[01:45:46] Speaker C: Somebody. Somebody at Lake Geneva got confused.
[01:45:49] Speaker B: Yeah, they were making the map. Right.
But this is a. So it's a long hallway. There is a light at the end of it, and there is this like roller ramp that goes alongside on the side of this corridor where somebody. You put something on and rolled along it. And are those. Maybe be like, you know, you know, maybe this was used prohibition and they, you know, or maybe who knows what it was for.
[01:46:09] Speaker C: And are those doors we're seeing above 2C?
[01:46:14] Speaker B: It's. It opens. You see that? That's an open kind of.
[01:46:18] Speaker C: But we have to get. We have to get down there to see.
[01:46:20] Speaker B: Yeah, you're down there to figure out what's there.
[01:46:22] Speaker C: Yeah. Let's go.
[01:46:26] Speaker A: Duke heads out, gets to the corner where that goes north, I guess.
Check. Looks down.
[01:46:34] Speaker B: Okay, so as you look in here, this room, there's a unlit lantern hanging from the ceiling.
The southeast corner of the room, there's a set of tsukuba tanks with a hose curled around the base.
[01:46:49] Speaker C: Sleep gas.
[01:46:50] Speaker B: And there's also some three gas masks by the base of these SCUBA tanks. So let me give you a better image.
[01:47:00] Speaker C: This is where they base themselves out of.
If this was the right kind of game, I would shoot that lantern to light it. But it's not that kind of game.
[01:47:10] Speaker B: Yeah, it's not that kind of. Now, you can use a lantern if you want. I mean, you have your handy dandy flashlights, but.
[01:47:16] Speaker C: Yeah.
[01:47:23] Speaker B: Okay, so as you're. You're looking at the image I just posted. You're in room 2C.
In the southern end of the corner is where this SCUBA tank is.
[01:47:31] Speaker C: Are the tanks under pressure still?
[01:47:34] Speaker B: Okay, so as you go check it out. Does anybody have.
[01:47:43] Speaker C: Sorry, Sean. Probably just got you shot by a shotgun.
[01:47:45] Speaker B: Appreciate it.
[01:47:46] Speaker C: Yeah, welcome.
[01:47:47] Speaker B: No, not at all. So if you. If you examine. As you examine the SCUBA tanks and you went through scuba training, you know, with Colonel Rhombus in between, surely the center of huge training and being shot with flamethrowers and, and. And the marsh the bot, standard bog training. And all the other training that you.
[01:48:04] Speaker C: Received, you need waiting. Yeah.
[01:48:06] Speaker B: Yeah. So. So as you look at this, you notice there's actually what appears to be a. A very fine sand at. Coming out of the end of the.
So the scuba tanks has.
There's a hose core around the base. The hose is attached to the tanks. And there's actually appears to be sand there at the end of this hose at the nozzle.
[01:48:31] Speaker C: Band. Like it's come out of the tanks.
[01:48:33] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah. And they are under pressure. And the pressure gauge there is pressure there. Yeah.
[01:48:45] Speaker C: I'm not sure what to make of this.
[01:48:48] Speaker B: You want to fiddle with. Do you want to.
[01:48:50] Speaker C: But the gas. The gas, Max. Do gas masks do make it seem like this has to be related? That in the Canadian money, this has got to be where those guys based themselves before they went after the president.
Gas masks. Three. Three scuba tanks.
[01:49:07] Speaker B: One scuba tank, Three gas masks.
[01:49:09] Speaker C: One scuba tank, three gas masks.
[01:49:16] Speaker B: But again, the sk Tank has this hose coming off it, which is odd, right?
Like, instead of going up, like where you'd hook a mask to it, it's got like a. Almost like a, you know, like a. Yeah. Sprayer. Yeah.
[01:49:30] Speaker C: Want to put the gas mask on and try it? I don't know what the point would be.
[01:49:34] Speaker A: Why don't we. Is the gas mask just loose? Like, we'd have to put them on our heads to hold them.
[01:49:40] Speaker B: Like, without hair straps, you could.
[01:49:43] Speaker A: I don't want to put them on.
[01:49:44] Speaker C: On.
[01:49:44] Speaker A: I just.
[01:49:45] Speaker B: You can hold it up to your face if you want.
[01:49:49] Speaker A: I grab one and I put it on.
Not over my face, but I just hook it onto my head, like, up on top of my head in case we need them. I say take one. In case we get into something.
[01:50:01] Speaker C: I put mine on.
[01:50:02] Speaker B: Okay. So that I prefer. Just easier.
[01:50:07] Speaker C: It's like pain.
[01:50:09] Speaker A: Understand?
Take that damn thing off, boy.
[01:50:13] Speaker B: Can't you understand me?
[01:50:17] Speaker C: Do you think we should turn on the tanks to see what. What's in the damn thing or not?
The sand is bizarre. Obviously, it's not.
[01:50:26] Speaker A: My fear is that it's. It's just a. It's filled with sand, and it's not real.
And it's used for us to look at it, and then it explodes. So I investigate, like, the tanks, like, a little bit more in detail, but not touching them. Kind of looking at them.
[01:50:43] Speaker C: Before he. As he's doing that, I'll say, wait, they may have. They may have rigged all this to catch people like us coming behind them.
[01:50:51] Speaker B: Yeah.
[01:50:52] Speaker C: Don't touch it. Let's let the Bomb squad deal with this.
[01:50:55] Speaker B: Fair.
[01:50:57] Speaker C: Okay, we're gonna leave it.
[01:50:59] Speaker B: Okay. Where are you going from here? You can go north from this room or you can go west from this room.
[01:51:09] Speaker C: North, North.
[01:51:11] Speaker B: Okay, so you. As you.
Okay, so as you go north, this leads you to a room that's five by ten with a table in the center. They're four. Four chairs around the table. There's an unlit lantern on the table.
[01:51:30] Speaker C: Yeah.
[01:51:30] Speaker B: I will open the map up a.
[01:51:32] Speaker C: Little bit for you.
[01:51:33] Speaker B: But yeah, it's a. That's what's in this room.
There's nobody in this room. But there's.
[01:51:40] Speaker C: And there was no doorway to get into it. Right? It was just open.
[01:51:42] Speaker B: It was open, yes. Correct. Yeah, correct.
[01:51:44] Speaker C: So in fact, we probably would have shined the lights in there earlier, I would think, since it's. We're only talking 20ft.
[01:51:50] Speaker B: Well, it's. It's a little. The hallway is a little bit longer than that, but yeah, I mean, it's.
[01:51:56] Speaker C: Although our flashlights probably only go about 10ft.
[01:51:58] Speaker B: Yeah.
[01:52:02] Speaker A: It only illuminates whatever you just pointed at. Nothing further.
[01:52:07] Speaker B: Right.
[01:52:09] Speaker A: Look at you in your flashlight.
[01:52:11] Speaker C: This one's much stronger. This is like super strong.
[01:52:15] Speaker B: Yeah.
[01:52:15] Speaker C: So you're in 3 thousands of lumens.
[01:52:17] Speaker B: Like I say, there's a table of chairs around it in here.
I don't know if you want to.
[01:52:23] Speaker C: Cursory search, being careful where we step, knowing that they may have like set bad things behind them.
[01:52:29] Speaker B: Definitely. Okay, so both of you give me a.
Both of you.
[01:52:33] Speaker C: Great.
[01:52:34] Speaker B: Give me a roll.
We're looking for your deactivation 64.
[01:52:39] Speaker C: Missed it.
[01:52:40] Speaker B: Oh no. But.
Oh yeah, you missed it. Yeah, go ahead. What do you get, Sean97. Okay, so you don't. Yeah. You don't see anything in here.
[01:52:50] Speaker A: Looks fine.
[01:52:50] Speaker C: Oh, not seeing anything is better than kaboom.
[01:52:53] Speaker B: That's true. Nothing goes kaboom. Correct.
[01:52:57] Speaker C: Move on to the left.
[01:52:59] Speaker B: Okay.
[01:52:59] Speaker C: The west.
[01:53:00] Speaker B: Yeah, so. So you, you go down this. You. You hit a four way intersection. It's all open.
So you can keep going west.
And there's a light to the end at the end of this to the west. Or you can go north or south.
[01:53:18] Speaker C: So can we see the light source yet or is it still in the distance?
[01:53:22] Speaker B: No, it. You don't see it directly. There's a room at the end of.
[01:53:25] Speaker C: This, but you don't have a light.
[01:53:28] Speaker B: You don't see the source itself. Okay.
Okay, so you.
Yeah, you gotta decide.
[01:53:34] Speaker C: Don't want go to the light.
[01:53:37] Speaker A: The light.
[01:53:39] Speaker C: There's a light that's further down still, right?
[01:53:41] Speaker B: Yeah. So here's. I, I'll give you another picture here.
[01:53:46] Speaker A: So is the light to the south or to the west?
[01:53:51] Speaker B: It is to the west.
[01:53:52] Speaker C: To the west.
[01:53:53] Speaker B: I'm going to drop you another image.
[01:53:55] Speaker A: I just thought we'd go to the.
[01:53:57] Speaker B: You don't see like a light bulb hanging there, but you can see there's illumination.
[01:54:01] Speaker C: Duke, you're in the lead now because you're not injured. So you, if you want to go south, take us out, buddy.
[01:54:04] Speaker B: So the room with the chairs is north of 2C. Oh wait, I gotta put it there so you can see it. The room of the chairs is north of 2C. You come up, there's a. This four way intersection. It's dark to the north and south to your. That, that room you're seeing ahead to the west. There is light in that room.
[01:54:22] Speaker C: Or we can go left or right, north or south?
[01:54:25] Speaker B: Right.
[01:54:26] Speaker C: Your call, dude.
[01:54:30] Speaker A: Let's get to the first intersection, then to the west.
[01:54:33] Speaker C: Well, we're at that, we're at that intersection now, I think.
[01:54:36] Speaker A: I bet.
[01:54:37] Speaker B: Yeah, you're at the four way intersection. Yeah.
[01:54:40] Speaker A: All right.
[01:54:42] Speaker C: Yeah, straight to the, to the light then.
[01:54:46] Speaker B: Yeah. Okay, okay, okay.
[01:54:48] Speaker C: So you bypass in the corridor.
[01:54:49] Speaker B: Yeah, gotcha. So, so, so as you, you go into this room, it's, it's. It's a room full of crates, tools and the center room is a 12 foot long log. Split lengthwise though there's like I say there is light. There's a, you know, light in this room.
There's a lit lantern in this room and that's where your light's coming from. The log halves are resting on three saw horses. There's wood shavings covering the floor and the lantern I mentioned is hanging from the center of the ceiling.
[01:55:22] Speaker A: This is one big ass log to fit down that chute.
[01:55:27] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah. The idea is. Yeah, this log probably goes down that chute. I'm not gonna take a picture because the geography. But it's a big room. There are. There's a door on the. Or not door. There's an opening on the west wall and an opening further south on the east wall.
Or you can further investigate what's in the.
The things in here.
[01:55:54] Speaker C: And what's in here is the lantern.
[01:55:56] Speaker B: There's lantern hang from the giant log.
[01:55:58] Speaker C: On like 3 saw horses or something.
[01:56:00] Speaker B: Yeah. And it's split it. It and, and there, there's tools. So if you, if you go up to log like cursory.
The. The log is hollow.
Several oxygen tanks Been mounted in it and there are straps to hold apparently somebody inside. There's nobody inside, but it looks like it's set up to strap somebody in this thing.
There are several cans. Yeah, there are several cans of wood sealant, wood putty among the cartons.
[01:56:30] Speaker A: You don't think they're going to smuggle the President out in a hollowed out log?
[01:56:34] Speaker C: It sure looks that way.
So is there like a river or a lake nearby on the map?
[01:56:42] Speaker B: Not really close, but there are, you know, waterways in the area definitely.
[01:56:50] Speaker A: You don't have to put a log onto a waterway.
[01:56:54] Speaker C: What's in it? How are you going to move it then? Like where are they, where are they taking it from here? See, I suppose from the Midwest. Oh, put it on the back of the truck.
[01:57:01] Speaker A: Trails, things.
[01:57:02] Speaker B: Yeah.
[01:57:05] Speaker A: That'S right. You don't have that in New York.
[01:57:09] Speaker C: Funny, no trees there.
But they haven't gotten him here yet.
[01:57:21] Speaker A: Or is he already here? They're just preparing it.
[01:57:23] Speaker C: Yeah.
Does it look like there was a second log by chance or is this like.
[01:57:30] Speaker B: No, it's just the one split log in here.
And from the size, it does look like this is probably what they were going to put on that rail. You know that rail system with, with the, the rollers? Yeah.
[01:57:44] Speaker C: Has that been. Been following us all along to the west?
[01:57:47] Speaker B: Yeah, it goes to this room. Yeah, it goes into this room.
[01:57:49] Speaker A: Okay.
[01:57:50] Speaker B: Stops in this room. It goes from this room all the way down this.
It doesn't extend into the root cellar, but goes all the way to the root cellar.
[01:57:58] Speaker C: But, but where does it go from here? Is it. Or is it literally just back and forth?
[01:58:02] Speaker B: Yeah, it's just, just one length.
[01:58:04] Speaker C: Okay, so it used to be, used to be for bootlegging.
Now they can use it to get the log back up to the root cellar door, Sean, probably and out them onto a truck or something. Right, right.
And we have beaten them here.
[01:58:18] Speaker A: Maybe, maybe, maybe. Or else we just haven't found the room that they're.
[01:58:24] Speaker C: Yeah, you know what, let's go back and check the north and south that we bypassed.
Right.
[01:58:29] Speaker A: There's no other exit out of this room.
[01:58:32] Speaker B: There are, there are, there's an exit on the west wall and an exit on the south wall. I mean the west wall there. There's an exit on the east and the west walls.
[01:58:41] Speaker C: Sorry.
[01:58:44] Speaker A: Go to the west, young man.
[01:58:50] Speaker B: So that's going to take you to another opening. Let me see one thing here real quick.
Okay. So it's dark. Okay. So it takes you to another four way intersection. And I'm going to show you some stuff here.
When you come up to this next four way intersection, at the end of this hallway, if you go straight, you see a bunch of rubble that appears to be blocking a corridor.
To the north is dark.
And to. To the south you see light.
There's light coming from the south.
It's this one here.
So you are coming out of the.
[01:59:42] Speaker C: Big room, which is 5C.
[01:59:44] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah, 5C. Directly ahead is rubble blocking the corridor. North is dark. To the south, there's light south.
[01:59:54] Speaker C: To.
[01:59:54] Speaker B: The light, towards the light. Yeah.
[01:59:56] Speaker C: Yep. Quietly. Yeah.
[01:59:58] Speaker B: Okay, so as you do that, okay, it, there's a, you know, appears to be a lantern light. You see crates as you come to, you see crates on the wall and there you also see a well.
So as you're coming forward, that's what you see in the room.
Are you talking. Who's, who's coming up to the entrance? Who's in the front? Me.
[02:00:27] Speaker A: Duke is.
[02:00:27] Speaker C: Can I say something? I think we should have our flashlights off, Sean. Duke, turn them off as we come. Put it, put it this way. As we approach the light, have them down their feet so we're not shining them into the room. And then as we get, you know, within like 40ft or something, we should douse the lights entirely so that they don't know we're coming. If they're, if they're in there.
[02:00:48] Speaker B: Yeah, you can do that.
[02:00:49] Speaker C: Our flashlights will now not turn back on, Sean, because the batteries are going to wear out.
[02:00:55] Speaker B: We.
[02:00:55] Speaker A: We had the last objects of our bathroom.
[02:00:58] Speaker B: That's right.
[02:00:59] Speaker A: These. What are they? What were they? There was a brand of them at, at one time.
[02:01:03] Speaker B: Yeah, they were. Want to look it up, but. Okay, so as you poke your head, this is actually good size room.
Let me get the picture. Ready to show you the room?
Actually. Let me.
So there's a good size room in the. But as Duke pokes his head in, he sees on the east wall there's a, a table with a radio and a pretty heavy. Actually, it's not a table, it's a heavy desk with, with a, with a radio on it. And you see a man there crouched behind the desk, pointing a revolver at you. Stubbed his.38. And then there's also a doorway that possibly goes to the. Where the log is. And there's a woman standing in that doorway pointing a Browning high power at you.
It's 9 millimeter pistol.
Let's see. Okay, yeah, I popped that open. Okay, you guys are coming from the north into 6C in the lower. In the southwestern corner is this desk with the guys crouching behind.
And a lady's in that opening there on the western wall. And as Duke pokes his head out, they both take a shot at him.
Actually, we need to roll surprise value, actually. But yeah, when you poke your head in, you see the two of them in there. Okay, so now we get to do the. With like 20 minutes left, we get to do the gun fight back. Okay.
But the first thing we gotta figure out is first shot, we gotta determine the who's gonna go first. Right.
So, Sean, you are ready, which is good.
Let's see. First shot determination.
So what this is figured off is surprise value.
And then we're gonna figure modifiers.
You don't have to draw.
You don't have any modifiers because you're. You're walking. You're, you know, you're edging up. Right, Right.
[02:03:17] Speaker C: Weapon speed matters though, right?
[02:03:18] Speaker B: Yeah, weapon speed is gonna matter.
[02:03:20] Speaker C: Shooters, movement matters.
[02:03:23] Speaker B: I. I would say you're gonna get a minus five for shooter surprise. Not that you're surprised, but these targets suddenly appeared that you weren't expecting. You know, you're first seeing them for the first time. Right.
So that's a minus five. Your weapon speed, the Uzi is.
What's the Uzi's weapon speed?
Ba. Below average.
So that's minus three. So that's minus eight.
You don't have any wounds.
Do or do you want to? Well, actually, the first thing I have to ask Sean, are you trying to. Are you going to jump back or are you going to gauge it?
[02:03:58] Speaker A: I'm gonna shoot him.
[02:03:58] Speaker B: Okay, so are you hip shooting? Are you pulling up? Dame. From the shoulder?
[02:04:03] Speaker A: I would probably hip shoot at this point.
[02:04:05] Speaker B: Okay, so I can give you +3 to your surprise value. What's your surprise value?
[02:04:10] Speaker A: It is 86.
[02:04:11] Speaker B: 86. So 89 or. Yeah, 89 is your value for. For our purposes.
[02:04:17] Speaker A: Right. Minus 8.
[02:04:20] Speaker B: Let me look and see what there says. Hold on, I've got theirs right here.
Is this.
[02:04:26] Speaker C: No, no, no.
[02:04:27] Speaker B: That's. That's a total. What's that? You're. You're. You'll get to go next because you pushed Duke ahead of you. I did, Yeah.
[02:04:35] Speaker C: I have a huge surprise value, though.
[02:04:39] Speaker B: So you're going to act before the lady does, but not before the guy behind the desk does.
[02:04:47] Speaker A: Okay.
[02:04:50] Speaker B: Well, actually, so, yeah, I mean, what's your surprise value?
[02:04:54] Speaker C: 131.
[02:04:55] Speaker B: Okay. So I mean, if you want to act or you want to.
Do you want to get oh.
[02:05:00] Speaker C: If it looks like a gunfight is erupting, I'll take a step, you know, out from behind Duke and I'm going to show.
[02:05:06] Speaker B: Okay. So you're going to see the same thing he saw.
Right. Okay. And yours is 131.
[02:05:12] Speaker C: Yep.
[02:05:13] Speaker B: You are. You already had your gun out walking.
What's your weapon? Let's see what's weapon speed for the 38 is a fast 3.
[02:05:23] Speaker C: 357 or 37.
[02:05:24] Speaker B: I'm sorry. So it's plus 5 for the weapon speed. You are wounded over half your life level.
[02:05:29] Speaker C: Yep.
[02:05:30] Speaker B: Which is minus 20.
So you're. So you are minus 15 to yours and old.
The, the gentleman behind the desk there.
Okay. So he's actually going to it. It's going to go the guy behind the desk and then Thomas and then Duke and then the lady. Okay. So the guy behind the desk is shooting at Duke because that's who he saw first.
Okay, that makes sense.
[02:06:07] Speaker C: Proper thing.
[02:06:08] Speaker B: Okay.
[02:06:09] Speaker C: And good night Duke.
[02:06:11] Speaker B: No, it's not good night Duke.
This isn't guaranteed. He's got a.
He's pretty good with that 38.
Yeah, he hit stuke.
So let's see Mr. Harrigan roll me percentile dice.
[02:06:31] Speaker C: What am I trying to do?
[02:06:32] Speaker B: Up low. We're, we're, we're determining injury hit location.
[02:06:37] Speaker C: 19 a 10 and a 9.
[02:06:39] Speaker B: 19. So that's left arm and roll me two ten sided dice.
[02:06:46] Speaker C: And do I add them together or.
[02:06:48] Speaker B: No, just give me the number separately.
[02:06:50] Speaker C: A five and a ten.
Okay.
[02:06:53] Speaker B: So that's a light wound.
Internal damage 11 points point. So poor Duke takes shot to the. Yeah, to the.
It's a bad one.
That's 11.
Okay. But that's not going to affect him this turn as he shoots because you're right. Yeah. So go ahead. And I, I, I think actually supposed to, but it's not going to affect this initial because you're all basically firing typically.
[02:07:25] Speaker A: Typically. Jason, would you then apply my wound to my.
[02:07:30] Speaker B: Yeah.
[02:07:30] Speaker C: Okay.
[02:07:32] Speaker B: I mean as far as the first shot determination, we wouldn't. But as far as your, your shot when you're firing. When you're firing, we would. Yes. So what are you. You're hip shooting. So I assume you're going to fire burst, right?
[02:07:43] Speaker A: Yes.
[02:07:44] Speaker B: Yes.
[02:07:44] Speaker A: Okay.
[02:07:45] Speaker C: I think we said Thomas was going to go second, right?
[02:07:47] Speaker B: Oh, that's right. Thomas. That's right. Yeah. So Tom, Thomas, you can take your shot at whoever you want. There's this lady in the sky. That's just fine.
[02:07:54] Speaker C: I'm picturing I can't see the lady as easily as I can see the. The dude.
[02:07:58] Speaker B: Yeah.
[02:07:58] Speaker C: And the guy just took a shot at Duke, so I'm gonna shoot at him.
[02:08:02] Speaker B: Okay.
[02:08:03] Speaker C: And I've got a 73 is my PWV plus my offense, so I start with a 73.
[02:08:10] Speaker B: Oh, wait a minute. What?
Left.
You popped out. Where was that? We said it was. We said it was left army, right?
[02:08:19] Speaker A: That was for me.
[02:08:20] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah. But you.
Were you fully in the doorway or were you using the doorway for cover?
[02:08:28] Speaker A: I don't know. Honestly, I would.
[02:08:30] Speaker C: We didn't specify.
[02:08:31] Speaker A: I would have probably. I didn't specify, but I probably would have used like as we got closer to what things happening.
[02:08:38] Speaker B: Right. Yeah. So. So if you use doorway for cover, that actually your. Your left arm be kind of behind the door doorway there. Ah, yeah. Yeah. So.
So. So that shot actually is going to hit the. Hit the wall next to you.
But Thomas, you can, you can take that shot. You. So you can see the. The upper part of this guy's body above this desk, right?
[02:09:01] Speaker C: Yep. I shoot it.
You shoot at the upper part of his body?
[02:09:04] Speaker B: Yeah. Right.
So now let's figure the numbers up here real quick. But if you wanted to make a.
A shot, like if you want to choose your target, do a.
What's the word?
[02:09:18] Speaker C: I don't.
[02:09:20] Speaker B: Yeah. Okay. A called shot weighs minus 50 to your minus 50. Yeah.
[02:09:27] Speaker C: Yeah. No.
[02:09:28] Speaker A: Okay.
[02:09:28] Speaker C: However, that also means that if I, if I hit him and we rolled a random hit location below the waist, it hits the desk, right?
[02:09:34] Speaker B: Correct. Where if you do the called shot, you're gonna hit him.
[02:09:37] Speaker C: I'm not doing a cult shot.
[02:09:38] Speaker B: Okay, that's fine.
[02:09:39] Speaker C: I'm still starting with a 73.
[02:09:40] Speaker B: Yeah, 73. Right. So it's minus 20 for your wound, which drops you down to a 53.
[02:09:45] Speaker C: Yeah.
[02:09:47] Speaker B: Your movement. You were walking. Right. Effectively because you step. That's minus five. So that's 48. 48.
Target's not moving.
Second. No, none of these other ones are affecting. You're. You are wounded in your gun army.
[02:10:06] Speaker C: I'm offhanded. Left handed, obviously.
[02:10:08] Speaker B: Okay, so minus 10. So that drops to 48 or 38.
[02:10:11] Speaker C: 38.
[02:10:12] Speaker B: And target obstructed.
Less than 50 of target is visible prone. So 28. So you're 28.
[02:10:19] Speaker C: So he benefits twice from it being undercover.
[02:10:22] Speaker B: Yeah.
[02:10:23] Speaker C: That's not once making him harder to hit and once giving him immunity from below the waist.
[02:10:30] Speaker B: No. Did I, did I read that twice? It's.
No, it's 73. Minus 20 for.
For your wound.
Right. Drops you to 53.
Minus five for walking. Drops you to 48.
Off.
[02:10:47] Speaker C: And then offhanded.
[02:10:48] Speaker B: Offhanded drops you to 38.
[02:10:50] Speaker C: Yep.
[02:10:51] Speaker B: And then target obscured is minus. Yeah. 50 or less targets visible is minus 10. So that drops you 28.
[02:10:59] Speaker C: Okay.
[02:11:00] Speaker B: He doesn't benefit twice, but yeah, I mean, you have to hit part of him that the bullet's gonna hit. I mean, you know, depending. It might go through the desk. We'll find out.
[02:11:08] Speaker C: Okay.
[02:11:08] Speaker B: Yeah. 28. Yep.
[02:11:10] Speaker C: And can I fire more than once?
[02:11:14] Speaker B: Well, you're. You're. It's per phase, Right. So there's the first phase. The rate of fire of the revolver is one. So you can fire one shot per phase. Okay, I'll just fire 28.
[02:11:23] Speaker C: So I'm going after.
[02:11:24] Speaker B: Right?
[02:11:24] Speaker C: Right.
[02:11:24] Speaker B: Yes. Correct.
[02:11:26] Speaker C: 87. That's a miss.
[02:11:27] Speaker B: Okay. Boom. So this. This three magnum goes off right next to your ear. Duke is you squeeze the trigger of your Uzi. So for duke, you have 97.
Minus.
Let's see.
Well, you're wounded too, so let's drop you to 77. 70.
You were walking, so 77. 72 minus 10 is 62.
So you're at 62.
And then. Oh, wait, no, that's not the Uzi. Hold on.
I was going off you with the. With the Magnum.
[02:12:11] Speaker A: I. I'm not injured, right? It didn't.
[02:12:13] Speaker B: It. Oh, yeah, yeah. Bounce off. That's right. You're not injured. So what's your. What. What's your offense?
[02:12:19] Speaker A: My offense is 57.
[02:12:24] Speaker B: Okay, we need to add 78 to that. That's the PWV, the Uzi.
[02:12:28] Speaker C: Wow.
[02:12:30] Speaker B: So 57 and 78 is 135. 135. Okay, so now 135 minus 5 is 130, minus 10 for him. Being concealed is 120.
So you can fire four shots this phase.
The first shot is 120, and then it's minus 11, stacking minus 11 for the next three shots.
[02:12:59] Speaker A: So it be. Then it would go down to.
[02:13:01] Speaker B: It's minus 11 for the second, minus 22 for the third, minus 33 for the fourth. A.
Wow.
[02:13:08] Speaker A: Okay.
[02:13:09] Speaker C: You're gonna kill this guy.
[02:13:10] Speaker B: Yeah, so. So roll me.
We're doing four to hit rolls. Okay.
[02:13:17] Speaker A: First one is a 54.
[02:13:20] Speaker B: Okay, that definitely hits.
[02:13:22] Speaker A: Next one is a 17.
[02:13:24] Speaker B: Yep, that hits.
[02:13:27] Speaker A: Next one is a 45.
[02:13:29] Speaker B: Yep.
[02:13:30] Speaker A: And the last one is a 51, which may end up missing.
[02:13:37] Speaker B: Well, it's minus 33. That minus 20s. And they all hit.
[02:13:41] Speaker C: As long as you're rolling a below like 80 dude, you're fine.
[02:13:44] Speaker B: Yeah. Now those penalties keep stacking. So ne, if you don't take a pause on one of these next phases, they'll keep stacking up.
[02:13:52] Speaker A: Right.
[02:13:52] Speaker B: But you're.
[02:13:53] Speaker A: When you say.
When you say minus 33, are you going minus 33 off the original number or the.
[02:13:59] Speaker B: Oh, no, you're right. You're right. You're. Yeah, no, there are cumulative here. Yeah.
[02:14:04] Speaker A: So.
[02:14:05] Speaker B: No, no, no, that's total. That's total from the original number. Yeah, yeah, yeah, they are.
[02:14:10] Speaker A: Okay. I didn't know if it went like.
[02:14:12] Speaker B: It's minus 11 per shot. So what was your original 120? Yeah, so one 120.
[02:14:20] Speaker C: 109.
[02:14:21] Speaker B: Right.
[02:14:21] Speaker C: Minus 11 from that then. Minus 11 from that.
[02:14:23] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah, yeah. So you.
Yeah, so they all hit.
[02:14:27] Speaker C: If you didn't roll above 75 or so, you're.
[02:14:29] Speaker B: You're good, dude. Right, right, right, right. So roll me four hit locations. These are four percentile dice.
Oh, you know what we should have. Actually, you're slightly less than that because you're hip shooting. It's minus 10 from that because he's hip shooting.
But they're still all gonna hit.
[02:14:47] Speaker A: Yeah. Okay, first one is a 20.
Second one is a 56.
[02:14:56] Speaker B: Left arm.
We have abdomen or lower back. That one's going to hit the desk. Okay.
[02:15:04] Speaker A: Second one was a 56.
[02:15:06] Speaker B: Yep.
Third one.
[02:15:10] Speaker A: Third one is a 73.
[02:15:14] Speaker B: That is right leg. That will hit the desk.
[02:15:18] Speaker A: And the Last one is a 39.
[02:15:23] Speaker B: His chest, rubber back. That will hit him. So the left arm and the chest definitely hit him. The other two hit the desk. Let's see what these do before we worry about the penetration of the desk.
So roll. Now you're going to roll two ten sided ducks. Just two individual, you know, two D10s. Yep.
[02:15:41] Speaker A: Four and a six.
[02:15:42] Speaker B: That. Sorry, I got the dog parking behind me. One more time.
[02:15:46] Speaker A: Four and a six.
[02:15:47] Speaker B: Four and six.
So five points to.
To his left arm. And. And then do that, roll that. Do that one more time. The two D10s.
[02:15:58] Speaker A: A1 and A1.
[02:16:01] Speaker B: Okay, so you did a total of six points of damage to him.
He is 2, 3, 4, 5, 6. He is still there. He's wounded. Well, actually now at this point, let's see what happens with the desk.
The.
You hit the desk. The bullet does.
Well, let. Let's. Let's skip it.
[02:16:29] Speaker C: Let's say.
[02:16:30] Speaker B: Just say the desk stops it so we don't bog things down here.
So now she fires at Duke and she misses.
So we are back around.
There hasn't Been anything to.
Oh yeah, there has been a change potentially.
He still acts before you. He's not over halfway wounded. He's still going to act before Thomas does.
[02:17:04] Speaker C: The guy, he goes first, right?
[02:17:06] Speaker B: Yeah, he goes first. Now his. He's.
[02:17:08] Speaker C: And this is same round. A new phase, right?
[02:17:11] Speaker B: Yes. Yeah, this is the next Phase two. Yeah, phase two. Yep.
So if you keep shooting your. Your shots get cumulative as far as the recoil effects.
[02:17:22] Speaker C: Is that true for non automatic weapons as well or just automatic weapons?
[02:17:25] Speaker B: Yep, yep. That's all weapons. Yep. And if you take break it then, then it resets.
So that's on page 24, bottom left on 24.
So he is going to take a.
Another shot at Duke and he misses.
And now it is Thomas's turn.
[02:17:52] Speaker C: If I. So if I fire the way.
[02:17:56] Speaker B: What's that?
[02:17:57] Speaker C: If I fire again, I have some sort of recoil penalty. What is it? For the 357.
[02:18:02] Speaker B: You do it.
So depending whether you listen to the tech, according to the text, it's minus 10. According to the chart, it's minus 11.
So we, we'll go with the minus 10.
[02:18:14] Speaker C: Okay.
And everything else being the same. So I Now have an 18% chance to hit it him, right?
[02:18:21] Speaker B: Yes.
[02:18:24] Speaker C: You know what, what, what happens if I aim?
[02:18:28] Speaker B: Okay, if you aim, you'll have a 5% chance to hit him.
But. Oh no, if you take. If you take a. I'm sorry, if you take.
[02:18:36] Speaker C: Take a phase.
[02:18:38] Speaker B: Yeah, I'm sorry, never mind. I was thinking something else.
[02:18:42] Speaker C: I'll get rid of the recoil penalty and I hope to get some benefit from aiming.
[02:18:47] Speaker B: You would.
So yeah, you'll have better chance next phase if you survive that long. Yes.
[02:18:56] Speaker C: Fair enough.
[02:18:57] Speaker B: I'll just fire again. 18.
[02:19:00] Speaker C: Okay, 22.
Close.
[02:19:03] Speaker B: Yep. If. If only there was a meta currency you could spend to help your role.
[02:19:07] Speaker C: If only not in this game.
[02:19:10] Speaker A: Eight points.
[02:19:12] Speaker C: That'll be if you want to.
[02:19:14] Speaker B: Yeah. That's only if you.
[02:19:15] Speaker A: Oh, that's right.
[02:19:17] Speaker B: Fortune. Yep.
They only basically keep you from dying, unfortunately.
Okay, you are up, Mr. Duke.
You can take a break or you can fire four more shots or you can do something else.
[02:19:37] Speaker A: I'm gonna try firing four more. Oh, now I'm at minus 22.
[02:19:43] Speaker C: I'm gonna.
[02:19:46] Speaker A: I'll fire four more shots.
[02:19:47] Speaker B: So you're.
[02:19:47] Speaker C: You're starting at 87, I think, just so you know. So I think you start off at 87 and you're gonna go 11, 11, 11, 11 after that.
[02:19:54] Speaker A: Oh, I think I go to 22. 22. 22.
[02:19:57] Speaker B: No, no, it's not 22. No, it's. So again. So if you turn on page 24, this is probably time. It's worth looking at the rules. They're where they're obviously not.
The text doesn't agree with the chart. See that? The bottom where it says automatic weapons. Yep.
Says the table includes the -10 per shot.
All other modifiers are cumulative with these. But you see how the automatic is 11, 22, 33, 46, 63, 85.
Yeah.
[02:20:28] Speaker C: So I'll tell you what. Sean just did your math. If you want to shoot four bullets, you would be 87, 76, 65, and 54.
[02:20:36] Speaker B: Yeah, I'll shoot if you want to do that. Yeah, just. Let's go with that.
[02:20:40] Speaker A: Okay.
[02:20:42] Speaker B: First one.
[02:20:44] Speaker A: 19.
[02:20:45] Speaker B: Okay.
[02:20:47] Speaker A: Second one.
[02:20:48] Speaker C: 76.
[02:20:50] Speaker A: 64.
Success.
[02:20:53] Speaker B: Yep.
[02:20:54] Speaker C: Third one is 65.
[02:20:56] Speaker A: 39. Success. I'm sorry. Correct. I stand corrected. 63.
So that would hit. That's it. Okay, last one.
[02:21:04] Speaker C: 54.
[02:21:06] Speaker A: 47.
[02:21:08] Speaker C: Four hits.
[02:21:09] Speaker B: Okay, roll, shred that. We're doing hit location now.
[02:21:15] Speaker A: So D10s. Right? Two D10s.
[02:21:18] Speaker B: No, this is percentile dice. Or four percentile dice.
[02:21:22] Speaker A: 100.
[02:21:24] Speaker B: That is left foot.
[02:21:29] Speaker A: Next one is 07.07.
[02:21:33] Speaker B: That's head, neck.
[02:21:37] Speaker A: Last. Our next one is a 10.
[02:21:40] Speaker B: That's right arm.
[02:21:41] Speaker A: And the next one is a 44.
[02:21:44] Speaker B: That is a chest rubber back. So you have three solid hits.
The roll your. Now you do the tens.
[02:21:53] Speaker A: Two D10s versus six and an eight.
[02:21:56] Speaker B: Okay, so that's a serious wound puncture. That's eight points, which is more than he has left. So that hit to the head takes. He drops at that point.
[02:22:06] Speaker A: And then the rest of them go into him.
[02:22:08] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah. And he slumps. He slumps down. He's dead.
Yeah.
[02:22:12] Speaker C: I think he's pinned back against the wall.
[02:22:14] Speaker B: Yeah, he flies against the wall and goes down. There's a blood stain as he goes down. Exactly.
[02:22:19] Speaker C: Slides down the wall.
[02:22:20] Speaker B: Yeah, he slides down the wall. Right.
And now she gets to shoot.
And she rolled a 95. She misses.
So we are back to Thomas. Thomas. Yep.
[02:22:37] Speaker C: I am going to. I'm picturing still she's kind of off to the side for me. So I'm going to stop firing dart out into the room. Little further out so I can get a better angle, point my 357 at her head and say, secret Service, give it up. Drop your weapon.
[02:22:52] Speaker B: Okay.
[02:22:52] Speaker C: I'm issuing a challenge. I'm also aiming.
[02:22:55] Speaker B: Yes. Got it. Well, so let's see, because we're here, here at the end of our time, let's see how that works. So I would say that what you're doing is call that intimidation.
[02:23:08] Speaker C: Yeah, in an incredibly charming way.
[02:23:11] Speaker B: So this could be charm98.
You're trying. Are you trying to scare her?
Are you trying to impress her?
[02:23:21] Speaker C: I think we're trying to intimidate her. So if you want to call that scare, fine, but basically you're. You're going to die.
[02:23:27] Speaker B: We're Secret Service trying to impress her. That's offense. If you're trying to scare her, that's your courage. Plus hand to hand weapon value, which this case, since it's not hand to hand weapon, I would say it's. If you're trying to scare, I'd say it's your.
[02:23:41] Speaker C: Jason, you know me, I'm not going to game it. I'm not even going to look at those numbers.
[02:23:45] Speaker B: Okay, well, it sounds like I'm trying to intimidate. Yeah, you're trying to appeal to authority that you're the Secret Service. Correct. So. So we're going to say that's impressed. So that's offense. So what. What's Your offensive value?
[02:23:56] Speaker C: 33.
[02:23:57] Speaker B: Okay. And her offensive value is.
So. Yeah. Okay, so what happens is where you to compare those and we're going to look at our contact reaction chart to see how that turns out.
[02:24:12] Speaker C: I don't roll. You just look it up.
[02:24:14] Speaker B: No, we did. We just compare the two numbers and it is a G result, which is contact will not listen to agent and roll me a percentile. Dice.
[02:24:26] Speaker C: 57.
[02:24:29] Speaker B: Okay. She demands that you leave. She says, I don't care. Actually, she doesn't say anything in French.
[02:24:38] Speaker C: In a French Canadian accent.
[02:24:40] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah, she.
In French.
[02:24:43] Speaker C: But don't you all get out of here?
[02:24:45] Speaker B: Yeah, exactly. But not. But she's saying in French. She's saying she tells you to get out.
[02:24:49] Speaker C: Zut a lor.
[02:24:52] Speaker B: Yeah, you recognize the French now? If you want to conversely in French after this, you can.
[02:24:56] Speaker C: But I do know French.
[02:24:57] Speaker B: She tells you to get out. Yep.
Okay.
[02:25:01] Speaker C: All right, Duke, let her have it, man.
Although your Uzi's now, you're starting at 54 now, right? Or whatever. Or would it be 11?
[02:25:10] Speaker B: So I think we should probably be using the ones on the chart. So probably now he's down to like minus 150, minus 200.
[02:25:17] Speaker A: So he's.
[02:25:17] Speaker B: He's real. Oh, the chart.
[02:25:19] Speaker C: The chart gets even worse.
[02:25:20] Speaker B: Oh, yeah, the chart's bad.
[02:25:22] Speaker C: Okay.
Oh, I see it.
[02:25:26] Speaker B: Yeah, you see what I mean?
[02:25:28] Speaker C: Oh, it. It piles on. Yeah, it's not. It's not linear.
[02:25:33] Speaker B: No.
[02:25:33] Speaker C: So you need to take a breather. Let your. Let your smoking Uzi calm down.
[02:25:37] Speaker B: Yeah.
[02:25:38] Speaker A: Let the barrel cool.
[02:25:41] Speaker B: Okay. She.
[02:25:42] Speaker C: She.
[02:25:42] Speaker B: She's. She's hollering at you to. In French, you.
Which Thomas knows. She's. Well, you. You unders. I mean, you have what, 44, right? So. Yeah. So you can tell she's telling you to get out. I know that. I don't have to say she's angry. She's speaking French.
I know that much. Yeah. And she's pointing in the. And the pistols going between the two of you.
[02:26:06] Speaker C: Okay, there's a standoff.
[02:26:09] Speaker B: Now we're on a new round. What do you want to do?
[02:26:13] Speaker C: I'm going to do a called shot, try to shoot her in the leg so we can capture her alive.
[02:26:18] Speaker B: Sounds good. So this ought to work. You have.
[02:26:22] Speaker C: I'm really good at guns.
[02:26:23] Speaker B: Yep. So 73. The called shot takes 50 off right away. So we're 23.
Nobody's moving or anything. But you're. So you're at three.
[02:26:34] Speaker C: That's better.
[02:26:34] Speaker B: Yeah. So basically, you have a 5% chance. So because you always have that one to five always hits 5% chance. Yep.
[02:26:45] Speaker C: Okay.
Can I. Can I, like, brace the gun on, like, Duke's big bicep or something? And.
[02:26:52] Speaker B: Well, you moved into the center of the room, so you're. I did.
[02:26:54] Speaker C: I did. I had.
[02:26:55] Speaker B: If you want to take 13.
[02:26:57] Speaker C: Just missed.
[02:26:58] Speaker B: Dismissed.
[02:26:59] Speaker C: Blam.
[02:27:00] Speaker B: Blam. But now you've shot at her. It does miss, though.
Duke, you get. Yeah. Duke, you get to go before she does.
[02:27:07] Speaker A: I now. I fire upon her.
[02:27:09] Speaker B: Okay, so now we're back to the 0, 11, 22, 33 modifiers. Okay. But yours is actually 5% higher because you weren't moving. You're not moving now, so you're. Everybody's stationary.
[02:27:23] Speaker C: What were they smoking when they built this chart? I'm looking at it now.
[02:27:27] Speaker A: That number.
[02:27:28] Speaker C: The hell, dude?
[02:27:29] Speaker B: Yeah. So you were at.
So it's.
[02:27:34] Speaker C: What's your.
[02:27:36] Speaker A: I think it's 80.
[02:27:38] Speaker B: Your offense or. Yeah, what's your offense?
[02:27:41] Speaker A: 57.
[02:27:42] Speaker B: Okay, so it's 57 plus 78. This is. Yeah, that's why we need to write these down. So 57 plus 78 was what, 135.
[02:27:51] Speaker C: Yep.
[02:27:52] Speaker B: So it's 135 minus. You're over halfway wounded, right? Takes you.
[02:28:00] Speaker C: You should do a call shot on her head with all four.
[02:28:03] Speaker B: What's that?
[02:28:04] Speaker A: Haven't been wounded.
[02:28:05] Speaker B: Oh, that's right. You're not wounded.
[02:28:06] Speaker A: Yeah.
[02:28:07] Speaker B: So it's 135. Yeah. So it's. It's just the straight 135 and then the minus log minus. So you're over 100. All these.
So now you can you. If you roll too high, you could miss or jam though. If you're old 90s, remind me of.
[02:28:24] Speaker C: The super cool rule where you can shoot the weapon out of somebody's hands. You have to roll like your.
[02:28:28] Speaker B: You can aim to shoot. Actually, you could try to do that.
[02:28:31] Speaker C: There's But. But there's a way to do it in the mechanics.
[02:28:34] Speaker A: If you roll the exact number you.
[02:28:36] Speaker C: Need the exact number you. You need, you hit the weapon, which is pretty cool.
[02:28:39] Speaker B: Right?
[02:28:39] Speaker C: But anyway, Sean, what do you. What's Duke going to do?
[02:28:41] Speaker A: Just get a shoot spray and pray.
[02:28:44] Speaker B: Yeah. Okay.
You can do that as you do.
[02:28:47] Speaker C: In the 80s when you had a sub.
[02:28:48] Speaker B: Yeah. So go ahead. And of all me. 4 to hit rolls.
[02:28:51] Speaker A: 78.
[02:28:52] Speaker C: Yep.
[02:28:53] Speaker A: 41.
[02:28:54] Speaker B: Yep.
[02:28:56] Speaker A: 5.
[02:28:57] Speaker B: Yep.
[02:28:59] Speaker A: And a 66.
[02:29:00] Speaker B: Okay.
[02:29:01] Speaker C: All.
[02:29:01] Speaker B: All those hit. So roll me hit locations.
[02:29:04] Speaker A: Six and a one.
[02:29:07] Speaker B: No, no, the present. All those 61.
Okay. 61's abdomen. Okay.
[02:29:14] Speaker C: Ooh, gotcha.
[02:29:16] Speaker B: Yeah, terrible.
[02:29:18] Speaker A: Next one is a 12.
[02:29:20] Speaker B: Okay, that's right arm.
[02:29:23] Speaker A: Next one's an 89.
[02:29:26] Speaker B: That one's left leg. That one's.
That's exposed.
77 is right leg. So that's the only. So three of those are going to hit. One's gonna hit the wall.
So roll damage. That now is where you do the two.
[02:29:43] Speaker A: First one is a four and a zero.
[02:29:47] Speaker B: Oh, so that's 11 points.
Okay, keep going. She's still up. She's tough.
[02:29:54] Speaker A: An eight and a seven.
[02:29:57] Speaker B: Oh, that's serious puncture. That's eight point. Okay, so that's enough. She's out.
So. Yeah, I mean, you can.
[02:30:05] Speaker C: Yeah.
[02:30:05] Speaker B: You pepper with all four.
[02:30:07] Speaker A: Next one is a.
Yeah.
[02:30:10] Speaker B: And she collapses.
[02:30:10] Speaker C: He shoots four rounds, and about 20 squibs go off beneath her blouse and skirt.
[02:30:16] Speaker B: That's right. That's right.
So at this point, there is to the.
There's the hallway she's in which.
And then to your west, there's a door.
It's a secret door. But we're to assume you. Because we're out of time, we're going to say you found this door to the west.
[02:30:39] Speaker C: Feel free to narrate to the end, man, if we're.
[02:30:41] Speaker B: Okay, so. So as you. As you go through here, you find the President behind another secret door. Hey.
And he's tied up.
And he tells you that there. There were more of them. And they. Some of them went to get A truck to come back to the log one. Yeah.
Okay, got it. So we're, We're. We're out of time now, so. But the one thing that you would still have to deal with is there is a third conspirator that stayed back.
And because you triggered the shotgun and. Well, because did a couple things, but the shotgun's one of them. He actually took a rifle and went outside, and he's waiting to shoot anybody that comes out of the house. So you would have to deal with that when you leave, when you guys presumably leave with the President.
[02:31:26] Speaker C: Yep.
[02:31:27] Speaker B: Now, you could use the radio in here if you. If you wanted to, to try to reach Secret Service and bring the calvary. But if you just tried to leave without calling the calvary, which we would have.
[02:31:35] Speaker C: Yeah, then totally would have.
[02:31:37] Speaker B: This guy would have took a shot at you.
He probably would have hit because he has a scoped rifle.
His skills pretty high with the scoped rifle.
But then, you know, it would have played out whether, you know, the one guy in the tree line shooting at you.
And then once you took him out, you'd have been free, you'd have been done.
[02:31:59] Speaker C: Got it. All right. Thanks for running, man.
[02:32:01] Speaker A: Yeah, thanks. Jason.
[02:32:03] Speaker B: Yes. Sorry about the confusion with the automatic weapons.
[02:32:06] Speaker A: No worries.
[02:32:07] Speaker C: But. No, it's not much confusion.
[02:32:09] Speaker B: Okay. But you see what I mean? I mean, really, we.
You should go by the chart, but see how the, the text right above the chart where it talks about the minus 10.
[02:32:19] Speaker C: Yeah, the chart's crazy, dude.
[02:32:20] Speaker B: Yeah.
[02:32:21] Speaker C: Like, why wouldn't they just go with a stacking minus 10?
[02:32:24] Speaker B: Just make it easy.
[02:32:26] Speaker C: Yeah.
All other modifiers. So cumulative.
[02:32:30] Speaker B: Yeah.
[02:32:31] Speaker C: And neither one of the. Of those values for either type of weapon is a minus 10. They both.
[02:32:37] Speaker B: Yeah, that's why I say it doesn't make any sense. And we, we skip normally. Like, if we weren't in a rush claim thing, I, I would have used some. Some of the optional rules of weapons where injury location would add damage and your. Your caliber ammunition hits and all. But we're not messing with any of that. We didn't do that. And there are temporary losses where you could potentially have wounds as you're going. But you know, here, that's just Generalized in that minus 20 or minus. Yes. That basic minus deer to hit, so.
[02:33:10] Speaker C: Got it. Yeah.
[02:33:11] Speaker B: That's top secret.
